Slow Download Speed on Neostrada Orange Internet: Resolving 300kb/s and 3694kb/s Discrepancy

Hello, my problem is the Internet from Neostrada, the download speed is very slow, about 300kb / s on the router page says that the download is 3694kb / s, the same is true, sending works 10x slower than it should. Can i do something about it?
I have internet connected with a computer cable, it works similarly on wi-fi.

Every time I did the speed test, the speed was different. Wi-fi in my router was off when downloading this test file max 30 kB / s. Normally, when I download something, it is about 300kB / s when I play some online games, I have 100 ping when no one on wi-fi :( you can't play like that.

    1. Is this speed from the installation of the service? Was it different before? What?
    2. What router / modem are you using? model
    3. Are other devices connected to the router?

    1. She was like this since installing the service, but lately she is starting to walk even more slowly
    2. Tp-Link TD-W8950N router
    3. The computer is connected to the router with a cable and Wi-Fi is also turned on.

you have 3.9 synchronization so the connection speed achieved is about 3Mbps for speedtest
High line suppression - long distance to control panel, low SNR can break connections.
synchro in adsl mode, ask / write / call operator for ADSL2 + then the speed will increase a little.
Have you always had max 3 Mb / s?

In general, I had internet from the modem than a plus but I thought it would be better from Neostrada and I was wrong; p so from the beginning there was something about 3. Should I ask for an ADSL2 + router? I'm a little green: /

    Your router is ok.
Report to the operator an unstable line that has transmission errors and low speed.
When talking, do not start at a low speed, because such reports are more likely to ignore.

Before you call, check with you the cable that leads from the telephone jack to the router. See if it or the plug is damaged. Replace if necessary.

If the cable is ok or replacement does not help, then call the operator and let a technician send it.

I'll add so much from myself when it comes to neostrada and ADSL:
Slow Download Speed on Neostrada Orange Internet: Resolving 300kb/s and 3694kb/s Discrepancy

No complaints will help (and even if what's the change of 1 Mb / s more?), You have to accept this speed. Orange will not modernize ADSL. Unfortunately :(

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a user experiencing slow download speeds on their Neostrada Orange Internet service, reporting a discrepancy between the router's indicated speed of 3694 kb/s and actual speeds of around 300 kb/s. Various troubleshooting steps are suggested, including performing speed tests, checking router settings, and examining the physical connection. The user is using a TP-Link TD-W8950N router and has noted that the slow speeds have persisted since installation. Recommendations include checking ADSL statistics, ensuring the integrity of the connection cable, and contacting the service provider to address line stability and potential upgrades to ADSL2+ for improved performance. It is also mentioned that Neostrada may not modernize ADSL infrastructure, limiting potential speed improvements.
