Hello, I recently purchased a Peugeot 207 1.6 VTi from 2009. From time to time while driving or after firing (and sometimes not at all) the driver's airbag indicator lights up and the display shows the message "a-bag / s-belts fault ". After a few beeps, the information and the indicator turn off. The car was connected to the computer, but it does not show any errors. The electrician rummaged around his ankles under the driver's seat, but found that something was wrong. Have any of you had a similar problem or know what else it could be?

Do you know the past of the car, maybe it was beaten and the pillow "popped out". Probably some resistor was given instead. Examine it carefully, because it is a very important matter - your safety.

It's time to change a specialist.

I don't know the car's past. How can you check it?

The error is not displayed constantly. Only from time to time and there are no specific situations (e.g. speed or only after firing). Two different electricians connected it to the computer and there are no errors.

If the planets do not show any errors in the AIRBAG calculator, it may mean an inefficiently masked crash date :)

Sorry for the reheated cutlet. The driver belt pretensioner was a problem. Exchange for another did the trick.
