Hello, a week ago the phone fell into my water for about 30s and then dried in the sun for about 3 hours because I did not have access to rice. For 4 hours after bathing my phone, I put it in rice for 2 days. It also did not help, so I took it to the site. The service stated that the processor is damp and nothing can be done except replacing the motherboard. Now my question is whether after such a smartphone bath I can be sure that the replacement of the motherboard itself will take into account the fact that the site only detected it. I also wanted to ask you if you know any good stores with spare parts for huawei p9 lite (good in the sense that I will send them a phone and they will exchange only the motherboard and not the whole interior) or can I just risk buying some broken motherboard? If I think wrong with this replacement motherboard then please advise me what to do to have a working phone. Thank you in advance for your help.

Flooded electronics are flooded electronics. The phone all fell into the water so the consequence of this may be that after some time will also fall lcd, digitizer, camera and other elements. The service always cleans in isopropanol, but it will never give a guarantee. A week, a month or even two years can work. If you want to be 100% sure that you have a working phone, buy a new one.

You always have to have rice with you from now you'll probably remember that. :D

And now seriously, take the phone to another site because this diagnosis seems to be very general. After such a short contact with water, the fault may be trivial and the service would not be diagnosed or did not know how to do it.
