Hello. I have a LG K8 phone. I recently bought a micro USB-OTG adapter but the adapter does not work because this phone does not support OTG :( . My question is such or something "https://archiwum.allegro.pl/oferta/adapter-otg-nano-lg-k8-4g-lte-stylus-2-spree-i6424251007.html" will do the trick and I can connect pendrive or external disk. If you don't know any other ways to make your pen drive or external drive work without an OTG

    Since you have written there:

The adapter will sync with Phone models that have and support OTG functions

And your phone does not support OTG, how does it work?

You won't figure anything out. Buy a phone with OTG support.

The phone suits me, I'm more willing to buy a cheap tablet up to PLN 200. Well, I thought that there would be a solution because I saw on the net that if you root the phone then I could somehow use the otg function but too much of this west :(

USB OTG is a hardware solution, not a software solution.

Approx. Thank you all. I'm closing the topic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the LG K8 4G LTE smartphone, specifically the user's inability to connect a USB pendrive or external disk due to the phone's lack of OTG (On-The-Go) support. Despite purchasing a micro USB-OTG adapter, the user finds it ineffective. Responses indicate that OTG functionality is a hardware feature, not software-based, and suggest that rooting the phone may not provide a viable solution. The consensus leans towards recommending the purchase of a device with native OTG support or considering alternative devices like a budget tablet.
