Tomorrow, in my free time, I will write some questions to you about these settings in the night mode, generally the image can be seen in the attached photo yesterday.

Oki, he doesn't make a mistake, the one who doesn't do anything, it was just about confirming himself and the author, if there was any overwriting when you wrote the message ...

I do not sit tightly in the cameras, but is this practice not in conflict with what we are doing?
Does it really have to be like that the first person will take a photo of the sticker, approaching the camera, then write on the forum and get the password? :)

Of course, I'm not saying that the questioner should not be trusted, but on the other hand, this is probably not the place to make such data publicly available.
I suggest you report to your equipment supplier (distributor), who will arrange the appropriate password (doing it consciously, knowing who he is dealing with).

I am writing about security. My friend doesn't seem to understand what I'm talking about.
I know how it really is. Just because slogans are distributed left and right doesn't mean it's the right way.
I'm not saying that a colleague has to show any invoices, but if he only works with a company, after contacting them, they should provide the right information (passwords, methods, etc.)

What would a colleague think about the distributor and about this industry in general, if it was a colleague who took pictures of cameras and then received the password without batting an eye?
I do not know. On the other hand, I would have thought that a person who transmits such data without any reflection does not know what industry he works in. Therefore, such a minimum verification (installer / blacksmith) is reasonable.

Your colleague will reset your password for free. I really don't know what the problem is to write to your distributor. They know that a friend is an installer, it is not known here on the forum.

What is this rude behavior for? Can't a colleague accept that providing such data in a public place is highly controversial? If my colleague is so pushed about it, I assume that my colleague is not an installer, because if he were, then the colleague would have talked to his distributor a long time ago and the topic would be solved.
Seeing your colleague's approach to the matter, I wish that the system never had to be of use.

Thanks :) Your statement will make some people think that helping everyone is not worth helping. Especially when you get to know who you are dealing with.
I'm not 40 years old ;) But I am also not such a pisser as my friend and I will allow myself not to continue this discussion with a minor.

A bit differently, when reading someone else's statement, you can infer between the lines the character of the writer, which may conflict with the predispositions required for the installer ...

I agree, a BCS colleague, having a business account, can easily provide assistance via PW or BCS support, and any use of QRcode and S / N Moderator should be deleted and instructed or included in the regulations. This type of data is confidential and people tend not to change the default login settings.

It may have a button inside or pins that need to be shorted. You would have to send photos from the inside. Of course, the reset process can also be programmed in a different way, but I do not know 100%.

The cameras do not have a switch or reset points.
You can generate a password for them based on the serial number.
To find them in the network, use the BCS Point tools program ftp://ftp.bcscctv.pl/OPROGRAMOWY/BCS%20Point/BCS%20Point%20Tools/

Resetting Dome IP Camera BCS-P-212RWSA-G: Procedure to Find IP Address and Restore Factory Settings

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the BCS-P-212RWSA-G dome IP camera, focusing on issues related to locating its IP address and restoring factory settings. Users suggest checking the router's client list or using the BCS ConfigTool, although some report that the tool fails to detect the camera. Others inquire about the presence of a reset button and recommend connecting the camera to different power sources or cables. A key solution involves using the GuardTool for the BCS Point series to find the camera, and for password recovery, users are advised to provide the camera's serial number to generate a service password. Additionally, a mechanical reset method is described, which involves shorting two points on the main board while the device is powered on. The conversation also touches on password recovery practices and the importance of verifying ownership before sharing sensitive information.
