Hello, tonight the cat pissed on my xbox one s ...
I dried it with a dryer and then started it. It starts but turns off automatically.
I took it apart, under the power supply I noticed a strange dried "something".
My question is what could have happened and where is the fault?

This dried "something" is what the cat cried, that is, pissed  maybe the disc should be washed in isopropyl alcohol? because it causes a short circuit, therefore the console turns off if it has not been damaged by short circuits. Drying is not the end of "repair".

    In an electronics store.

I hate cats for such miracles. The coat would be lying outside.

I once bought an allegro, I use it generally for degreasing all surfaces. I do not know to the end whether it is possible to treat the motherboard with it and you certainly do not need to clean all the dirty places. It should also be in electronics stores. I would also use a delicate brush so as not to break something on the disc, the cloth will not get anywhere.
    PS cat alive? :)

He lives like that, but don't let him show me in the eyes.
I tried to clean the cleaner lightly, but it doesn't give the effect: /

But is it the cat's fault that he was not taught to take care of the needs of the litter box? :D However, I would be inclined to thesis, malice - I do not think that the console confused him with the litter box. First, thorough cleaning of the entire plate - if there is no damage, there is a chance that after drying, it will come back to life.

The cat is 14 years old, she is taught from a small one to settle down in the litter box, but simply bounces her in old age. Peeing on the washing machine, sink etc ...
I cleaned the disc and lies down, I tried to fire again and the same.
Does time matter, say in 2 days it can come alive?

    Spade, hole and after work.

You can even drown the whole disc in IPA, it will be fine.

    Hello
    section 9 / B / C is responsible for supplying RAM
wash the disc with isopropanol as this will not help to check SMD capacitors / replacement within
something called a human friend of this place.

Flooding electronics and drying, as a rule, gives a good effect when it is possible to completely eliminate even moisture particles. In the case of "marking by a cat" [the cat likes warm objects and is to mark them as its new property in nature] the problem is not so much moisture as the extremely aggressive nature of the "liquid" causing almost instant corrosion. To sum up - unfortunately the problem may turn out to be much more serious if "moisture" got under BGA systems ...

You are right, even a thorough heating can do nothing here.

... I would recommend inside the oven.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around an Xbox One S that was damaged by cat urine, leading to automatic shutdowns after initial startup. Users suggest that the dried substance found under the power supply is likely urine, which can cause short circuits and corrosion. Recommendations include cleaning the affected areas with isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and using a delicate brush for thorough cleaning. Concerns are raised about potential long-term damage, especially if moisture has penetrated critical components like BGA systems. The importance of completely eliminating moisture and the aggressive nature of cat urine are emphasized, with some users humorously commenting on the cat's behavior.
