    Hello,
I know that similar topics appeared but unfortunately I did not find an answer. After connecting the IP camera (Overmax camspot 3.3) to the Livebox via cable, port forwarding, DDNS setting, the camera image is visible from outside from any device (computer, telephone). The situation was complicated when I disconnected the LAN cable from the camera - then it is visible only inside the network. And the question arises - is it the fault of the camera or maybe I have set something wrong? I've included screenshots. I will be grateful for any help!

Did you check if the camera's radio interface has no separate address? Because logic should be like that.

But it's probably some network settings for the camera to act as an AP or "spreader" of a wireless network. There must be a configuration somewhere as a client or receiver so that you can connect to your wireless router.

I am afraid that this camera simply does not have this function. The only thing I got to is the RTSP option which is set as follows

RTSP is a video stream that you can send on the network.
What do you have in the Wireless LAN tab.

I hope that you realize that you bought a toy and not a professional camera for monitoring !?

You bought - you did not buy. This is how I start to realize my question from the beginning, whether the sense of further burying in the settings is meaning, because I can stay on the cable itself. Capture from wireless networks.

Well, you click on the network with Livebox and enter the password to secure the wireless network and click Set, Did you do it?

Also show network settings. Did you check if the camera got an address from the router's DHCP? It should be in clients.

    1. I did it
    2. Like a webcam connected on a cable, it appeared in dynamic IP (PC36) and I assigned it permanently to IP. As it is on WIFI it disappears from the list of dynamic IPs.

Did you check if this permanently assigned IP address corresponds to?

What should I know? How did you have your camera connected?

In our forum in a good tone (netiquette) is to provide a way to solve your problem.

Well, I just do not know if it can be considered a step-by-step solution to the problem. I just do not know what comes to my mind the fact that I disconnected the LAN cable too fast for 1 time? For 2 time, the sign that it will also work on wifi was that the Livebox assigned the IP number as the camera was already without the cable before there was an empty field and the ip number was shown only with the cable connected.

Of course, this is a very good answer.
    Greetings and welcome again.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Overmax Camspot 3.3 IP camera and the challenges faced when attempting to access its live feed remotely via Wi-Fi after disconnecting the LAN cable. The user successfully set up port forwarding and DDNS on their Livebox, allowing external access when the camera is connected via cable. However, once the LAN cable is removed, the camera is only accessible within the local network. Responses suggest checking the camera's wireless settings, ensuring it is configured as a client to connect to the Wi-Fi network, and verifying that it receives a proper IP address from the router's DHCP. Ultimately, the user confirms that the issue was resolved, indicating that the camera can function wirelessly under the right settings.
