Iveco Daily 35 C11 (2001) - Hard Front Suspension: Replace Steel Cross Spring with Composite?

Hello. I have an Iveco Daily 35 c11 from 2001. The problem is the very hard front suspension, it's so hard that after a long ride it feels like someone has kicked my ass well. There is one steel cross spring hidden in the beam, so you cannot see what condition it is in.
Will replacing it with a composite spring help?
