Hello, please help. I moved into a new apartment. After connecting to the collective antenna socket, the TV does not search for all available terrestrial TV programs. There are 2 cables to the socket, I guess satellite and terrestrial. They were extended. The connection is probably done correctly. Is there any way to check if the signal is reaching the apartment? Do you have to report it to the developer as a bug.

Check the provisions in the contract and pick up at the neighbor.

In the instructions received upon receipt, there is information about the access to all programs available in Wrocław after plugging into the socket, and I do not have any neighbors yet. I mean, is it possible to check if I am doing something wrong or if the error is on the developer's side.

Rather, an entrance and an exit.

Better to avoid extending the antenna cables.

    Just call us and ask.
Perhaps the installation is not yet working and you are receiving powerful programs by accident.

I will, I will report to the developer on Monday. I have one more question . Since I turned the socket on looking for the reason, I need a hint on how to properly twist it. The socket has three external inputs for connecting a TV with the markings Sat, Sat, Rtv. From the inside, there are two cable entries from the wall, marked Sat on one, Rtv and Sat on the other. Two cables come out of the wall, the same for me. There is only one connection in the apartment. Does it matter which cable to input?

Probably the socket is prepared for the PWR system used in the case of having two SAT inputs in satellite tuners. One cable provides only SAT signal and the other one combined R, TV and SAT signal.

Is there a way to tell which cable is which?

The new apartment is likely to have cables and no antennas.

Both provide the same signal, i.e. RTV-SAT

What if it is a serial installation with through socket outlets?

It is unlikely that it would be a serial installation with through sockets.

Problem solved :-) I reported to the developer - something was wrong with the antenna. Thank you for all your help.

Look inside the socket and check if the cable is connected?

And do you see a radio antenna on the roof?

Since it is a collective and ...

Hello, I am renting in a new block, put into use in the spring of this year. Theoretically, according to the regulations, there should be a collective installation in a TV-SAT block. in the rooms I have sockets in the walls of this type https://dvbsklep.pl/userdata/gfx/0b88fc56ba0d3243bd0550d7330dbc64.jpg there is no SAT connector on them, which I care about the most, because I still have a subscription to NC +. I have not brought the decoder yet because I do not know if it makes sense, having such a socket as a photo means that I can only connect the radio and DVB-T? The developer does not write back whether there is a satellite installation, no one from the neighbors has any plates mounted on the counter.
In the block there is a fiber optic from orange (also in the walls) and probably everyone chooses the internet + tv option from orange, I do not want to be bound by another contract with the TV, I only have optical fiber from orange. While standing in front of the block, you cannot see if there is a SAT installation.

    The link is not working.

Well, in such a socket there is no sat signal and it will not be. Probably the building did not comply with the new regulations and the satellite installation is not provided for in the project.

The beginning of the construction of this building is the end of 2016, so the new regulations were in force for 3 years, it's a bit strange.

But it is not the beginning of the construction, but the building permit. You have to harass the developer or hang your antenna.

the installation of the antenna is not possible in my case. When the antenna is directed to the south, I have a second wing of the block that obstructs the signal, I live on the 2nd floor, the block has 5.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced by a user who moved into a new apartment and encountered problems with receiving terrestrial and satellite TV signals through a collective antenna socket. The user suspects that the installation may not be functioning correctly after extending the antenna cables. Various responses suggest checking the installation, confirming the signal type, and contacting the developer for potential issues with the antenna setup. It is noted that the socket configuration may support both satellite and terrestrial signals, but the user needs to ensure proper connections. Ultimately, the user reported that the developer acknowledged an issue with the antenna, resolving the problem.
