    Hello,

I will present what my problem is. Well, sometimes my computer rebels and hangs - it does not react completely to anything, to commands, to a restart button, nothing at all. The only way out is to hold the power button (and thus the computer breaks down), what can it actually mean here?

    parameters:

    Processor - Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70GHz
    Motherboard - Asus H110M-K
Graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950
Power supply (I think it's about the one under the desk) - PC-5ST, rated voltage - 230V, 50Hz, 10A. POWER CONTROL 5. (Date of manufacture 2002)
    RAM - 8GB

    hahahhaa

    No, that's not it. That's what's inside.

    Aaaa, okay.

In that case it is - Antec, VP500PC, 500W.

Maybe he has a laptop, so the power supply is under the desk.

Perform the clean installation of the system from scratch and see if it also hangs after you to exclude the blame.

I have a computer. I will try to make the format as soon as possible and see, this error does not pop up so often so the check will take a while.

Unfortunately, after a two-week format, the computer again began to rebel and hung.

    Show SMART disk:

    Memtest memory test (2 passes):

Condition of capacitors on the board:

Swollen or no capacitors at all? One is at the PCI-E slot and the rest is not from those "swelling".
Make another 20-minute Power Supply test in OCCT and insert all the graphs after finishing:

After the fact, everyone can write that.
Not always damage to the computer can cause suspension, often it is the fault of the system / programs ...
    Jack Walker wrote:

You did only 11% of the test, it's not enough, do 100%, if the memory turns out good and you do not have fused capacitors (although you probably do not even know what it is) (although now you are mounting polymer capacitors that do not swell) I would replace the power supply they are usually the cause of unexplained strange computer activities.

Before the fact also, because we have lovers of formatting, even damaged disks.

    You only made 11%

11%, but already the second pass, however two courses are indicated.

I do not know how to set this test, I would do it for 20 minutes.

Automatic and enter the number of minutes in the fields.

I typed in "duration" 20 minutes, but when I turn on it stops at 59 seconds.

I'm refreshing, it happened to me again.

Topic summary

The user experiences intermittent computer freezes with their Intel Core i5-6400 and Asus H110M-K setup, requiring a hard shutdown to regain control. Initial troubleshooting included a system format, which did not resolve the issue. Suggestions from the forum included performing SMART disk checks, running Memtest for memory diagnostics, and inspecting the motherboard for swollen capacitors. Users emphasized that power supply issues could also be a contributing factor, recommending a power supply test and potential replacement if problems persist. The user reported difficulties in conducting the tests and continued to experience freezes despite attempts to diagnose the problem.
