    Hello.
Today, when entering the zte admin panel, I noticed that the router update is available. I turned it on and after a few minutes a message was displayed that the update is complete and the router will be reset. Indeed it happened with the fact that from now on no indicator lights up except POWER. The reset button does not react at all, i.e. when it is pressed and held, nothing changes. After turning the router off and on, the power LED lights up and the SIG and 3G / 4G LEDs light up, then the latter two go out and nothing happens. There is no access to the admin panel. My question is, is there any way to restore the router to the state it was in before the upgrade, or is it just left to take it to the site and pray that they accept the guarantees?

If the equipment is "dead", you don't have to pray for anything - they won't check it in the store.

And before updating, read the opinions about this version of the software BEFORE you update the hardware again.
Remember, after the warranty is only a garbage can (the manufacturer or the store no longer takes responsibility for "releasing" the equipment) - although in my opinion the manufacturer should be responsible, after all, it is his equipment and its update and it should not matter that the equipment is already after the warranty period. Before the update it worked, now it is dead - it should update.

Thanks for the help. I thought more about whether there is any solution at hand directly. Due to the fact that currently I am not able to fail this to the site and the internet would be useful. I didn't even think about checking the update sent by the manufacturer. But well, I must have been disappointed.

There is probably (here I am guessing, because I have not dealt with the repair of this equipment) some terminal, soldering some pins - but if it's under warranty, then don't disassemble anything!

It is worth doing - perhaps someone's hardware has died after a given version of the software, and it is worth avoiding the same accident.

And contact the operator by phone - perhaps it will be possible to do it by parcel / courier.
Only a word that it fell to you due to the update (then they can figure it is your fault, because you did something wrong).

I called the hotline (in this case orange) and the only thing the assistant could help me with was to reset the router. Next week I will take it to the site and we'll see what they say (here where I am now I don't have a hardware box or any receipt). I read about this update but the only problems were that it was breaking the connection and not making the modem a window sill decoration. In general, there is little information about this router everywhere, even the manufacturer's website has nothing more than instructions.

If it is a router from Orange, you can also submit a complaint about the equipment in the salon. ZTE does not provide any support on its website, in this respect it is a much worse choice than, for example, Huawei.

You need to find some proof of purchase, without it it will be difficult to make your warranty claim.
