Hello. I bought NC + TV with 80cm dish :) I set up the antenna for the first time alone and I was able to set the quality to 100% :) I was very happy because I was doing it for the first time, I turned the antenna and turned off the TV in anticipation of activation.
I turn on the tv in an hour and the quality is already 70%
(antenna well bolted) since then, the television receives well,
but when it rains it loses its signal. Do I have to set it up again? NC+ TV Reception Issues: Signal Loss during Rain with 80cm Dish - Antenna Setup & Adjustment

Check the attachment of the plugs, set again. In the antenna's field of view, are there any trees, buildings, etc. stuff?

Nothing is in the way of the antenna. The bowl is 80cm. Damn and play again in this setting ? but it was set perfectly, and probably not possible that I turned wrong

Sometimes, after turning, a slight movement changes the quality. Can be shifted slightly.

It seems that is right. Remember to set the converter.
The converter also requires adjustment of the so-called twist

can it turn the converter itself?

What decoder is it? Generally, with the 80cm antenna you should take into account the disappearances. The weather is getting more and more extreme. For me, the 115cm canopy also unfortunately disappears more and more often.

    BOX + decoder

yesterday there was a severe downpour and the program disappeared more than once, but for a minute two

This 82% is a very decent result. 100% is probably a decoder error. He probably still had old software. You have to come to terms with the rainfall at the downpours.

You made me happy :) I thought I got the antenna wrong because I was doing it for the first time :) downpours are rarely somehow I can handle it ;) And interesting how during snowfall?

I don't know if I twisted it quite strong: / because when I tighten it harder, the quality decreases

Unfortunately, the weather is getting worse. This year I had several total disappearances even after 15 minutes. Unfortunately, when tightening, you need to check and turn the appropriate nuts.

With a "normal" rain, on a well-set 80's, there should be no signal losses, but quality loss as much as possible. Anyway, there doesn't have to be rain to degrade quality - just a simple cloud. The thicker its layer - the greater the quality decrease.

This is a normal symptom. On my 105 I also sometimes have momentary decays. See what antennas it has nc + uplink station , and even on them with large downpours may be signal loss. Sometimes, on some channels, you may experience a complete loss of signal in nice weather, when a storm is raging over the transceiver.

It can be similar with a snowstorm, until it disappears completely due to snow settling on the surface of the canopy and on the converter.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around signal loss issues experienced with an NC+ TV setup using an 80cm satellite dish during rain. The user initially achieved a signal quality of 100% but noticed a drop to 70% after some time, with further degradation to 40% during heavy rain. Participants suggested checking the attachment of the plugs, ensuring no obstructions (like trees or buildings) are in the antenna's line of sight, and adjusting the converter's twist. It was noted that some signal loss during rain is normal, especially with smaller dishes, and that extreme weather can exacerbate these issues. Users shared experiences of similar problems and emphasized the importance of careful tightening of the antenna to avoid misalignment.
