    Hello.

I have a big request for help on this topic.
    OPEL COMBO C - VAN.
The interior lighting does not work.
But it does not only work from the light button, i.e. pressing the knob in the combi module has no effect when stationary and while driving.

The light comes on when you open the door and it gradually dims when you close the door.

Maybe it has an impact, maybe not, but I will write to get the full picture of the situation.
The remote control (the one in the key) does not work (I am also looking for a diagram of this key), so after pressing the buttons the diodes do not "flash" - the battery was changed.
I open the central one manually by inserting the key and turning it.

I would be grateful for the tips.
I have already bought the car with this condition, so I don't know what was done.

    Best regards.

PS Google a lot, but I did not find such a fault.

    Switch to be replaced. Standard.

As for the key, I do not know what you mean - there is nothing to blink for me, there are no LEDs. Maybe sync needs to be done - the manual says:
    1. turn the ignition on, the system will stay in synchronization mode for 30 seconds
    2. without removing the ignition key, press the button for opening or closing the remote control
    3. Synchronization will be confirmed by locking and unlocking the central locking.

Mad Max's colleague speaks well. If the light comes on after opening the door and does not want to turn on using the switch, it means that something is wrong with the switch. Disassemble the entire lamp and check with an ohmmeter or if you turn on the button, is there any reaction on the meter.

If anything, it's probably worth taking this switch apart.
Let me remind you that when you open the door, the lamp lights up normally - i.e. it is operational.

I disassembled, cleaned and replaced. Now it is working :)
