Hello to all forum members!
At the beginning of my post I will try to accurately describe the situation and the problem that has been bothering me for a long time. Some time ago I bought a Yard Man ride-on mower with a damaged engine (broken connecting rod). I was able to buy an efficient engine of the same power and install it in the machine. However, there was a problem with starting the engine. Turning the key in the ignition switch, the starter does not react at all. However, when I disconnect the cables from the charging coil, everything is fine. The engine starts with the arrow. Charging on a running engine is about 14V. Even after connecting the cables going to the charging coil, the engine does not go out. After turning off, again zero reaction to the key. The solenoid is operational. I took a photo of the ignition switch and the cube connecting the wires of the charging coil. I am asking for suggestions on what to do here.
