Hi everyone, I have a DS150E replacement, from AliExpress. Everything was fine, he connected himself with all the cars I have at home, that is, he fulfilled the task I ordered him for. Unfortunately, some time ago I had e46 connected and lost the connection. I went to the Ford and connected normally, so I came to the conclusion that something was wrong. But I combine linkage normally, so I did not try to fight the djs. Some time ago, a friend asked me to connect him with a sofa that I had previously connected and also did not connect, just like the same friend. I have not joined my sister Opel recently either, although I have previously read it normally. Audi connects normally, meaning the problem is only with specific brands. Because I tried cars from various years. I guess the problem may lie in some pins, maybe a cable? Is there something responsible for connecting to the car in the middle of the interface?
Thanks in advance for any hints.

Rather, interfaces. Ds is fixed on the first factors, look for yourself because you have probably released the ki line.

Unfortunately, I'm not too fluent in electronics. Well, from all that I read, it would come out that it is the ki line. I will add that he gave it when I was buried in 2000, and in one of the themes someone wrote that the older bones can release fejs. The question is whether the procedure as in the video, which I found, or substitution, D701 and D703 diode 1N4148 should fix communication? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcT0JCgMYK0 I called the service and repaired about 150 PLN, which at today's price of the dollar is pointless. I do not know if I should try to replace these diodes or throw them in a corner and order a new one.

It did not happen to me that BMW made it known - and I even connected E30. Cold February relays, often relays themselves to be replaced. Especially if he does not happen to randomly make or break communication.

With Ford, it connects to every vintage. Bmw will not connect older, after 2005 it will be so. Vaga from 2004 did not want to, from 2011 it was like that. So generally, with these older cars has a problem. Although the Ford TDI from 2001 takes no problem, and apparently resists. In that case, I think I will give up the subject of the repair and I will order a new one.

A typical dsa problem with the BMW group. To view / check the plate with relays,

I understand that the layman can not handle it? Is it just about checking the transitions? Because if it's a thicker case I'll let it go and I'll order a new one. Alternatively, I will try to insert a diode like the one I uploaded above.

Depends on how you know the topic, it is not said 100% that it's the fault of transmitters. Taking into account the prices of dss, I would buy another one, but he checked immediately if BMW works because the big majority does not work at the start. I had a lot of them in my hand and the performances were different ....

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around connection issues with the DS150E interface, particularly when interfacing with BMW E46, Opel, and Ford vehicles. The user reports successful connections with some cars but experiences failures with specific brands, suggesting potential faults in the cable or pins. Responses highlight common issues with low-quality interfaces, such as faulty relays and the importance of checking the K-line. Suggestions include updating firmware and replacing diodes (D701 and D703) to restore communication. Users note that older BMW models often have compatibility issues, while Ford vehicles generally connect without problems. The consensus leans towards considering a replacement for the DS150E if repairs are deemed too complex or costly.
