    Hello,
I have a problem with the meter in the Audi TT 8N, Jaeger 8N2920980A.
Unfortunately, I don't have him in front of me, my friend comes back to me tomorrow. The fault is that when driving, probably from shocks, the temperature and fuel level tips suddenly drop to zero and at the same time the LCD resets as if. I had it on my desk a few days ago, I replaced the engines, but that's not it. The fault occurs when I bend the entire disc, which is why I think it's a solder issue.
I sold out most of the components in places where it seemed to be occurring but nothing helped.
Tomorrow I will continue to search, but so that my friend does not wait too long, in the meantime I ordered another meter with the same designation 8N2920980A and if I do not find anything, I will try to reschedule the entire meter.
I know you will need to rewrite the keys, although I don't know how / where. For now, I only have a cheap VAG-KKL cable and VAG-COM 409 soft cable. Can I handle this equipment? Apparently I also need PINs that I don't know where to get.
Wouldn't it be easier to convert the percentage from the old meter to the other one so that you don't have to code anything?

I will try to repay you accordingly.
    Regards

    edit:
I have some old recording from connecting the meter, poor quality because it's just a fragment:

Do I think that the number in the "Soft coding" field is this PIN?

vagem pin you can not read, soft coding is not a pin, find someone with carprog maybe it will help to repair the software in hc908 possibly replacement and programming

I will buy Carproga or something similar, but I won't make it tomorrow. If I transfer the entire ball to the second counter, will it work? Is there still some big SO20 with the inscription MEGAMOS, is it something with immo?

Thanks. So if I transfer both, I won't have to code anything anymore?
Do you know what's in this MEGAMOS?

    Thank you.
I think I will start a new thread, but maybe you can still help here? What equipment to buy are this type of tasks, i.e. flash read / write, meter adaptations from another car, etc. Small budget up to PLN 1000. There is a lot of this, carprog, VAG-tacho, digiprog 3, UPA ...

    Whats up.
I put both Procks, 08 and 12 from the first one in the second counter. The engine started, everything seems to be playing but the yellow indicator from immo is still flashing. After about half an hour of driving, the buzzer turned on and still buzzing from what the friend said on the phone. I have to go to her tomorrow and fix it, I just don't know how. Is it all about coding keys or something more?
I thought that if I translated both Procki, everything would be the old way.

There are no jumpers on the bank because I checked several times. Alternatively, it may not touch somewhere, not enough tin. Do you think that there is no option for him to behave this way after this operation? I have to talk it over tomorrow, I have a knife on my throat because a friend goes on vacation in the evening. If it was about some key coding, what can I buy quickly? I mean some Chinese clone. I know VAG-tacho does such things. I thought the application would work with my VAG-KKL cable or USB-K-line but the program could not see the cable. Any other options?

Okay, I'll go to her tomorrow and improve February, just want to know what to do if it doesn't work, because tomorrow I won't have time for a question in the forum.
I have exhausted the "helped" limit for you in this thread.
