    Good morning,

I have an express Krups EA 8005. The error is that after starting and heating, when trying to make coffee, the machine displays an error like in the video attached to the post.

The combination of flashing LEDs indicating the error is not described anywhere or I have found all other combinations :) The coffee machine itself seems fine after opening, I didn't notice any leaks. It is characteristic that the problem occurs when the plunger goes down and it remains there, which prevents the removal of the tray for removing coffee residues. Only lifting the piston up mechanically helps. Does anyone have a clue where the problem may be?

Then only the "clean" LED should blink. Anyway, pressing the rinse button does nothing.

How about pressing Rinse, removing the bypass trays for 15s, reinserting them and pressing Rinse?

I probably didn't make myself clear, but this coffee cup cannot be pulled out because it is blocked by a plunger.

An attempt to cheat, i.e. to carry out this operation in the given sequence with the espresso machine open and manipulation of the microswitch, only resulted in both lamps blinking simultaneously.

It only helps to raise the piston. Then the machine seems ready to work, but after pressing the coffee button, the situation repeats itself. The coffee machine starts working normally, the piston goes down and again the error ...

And in the error window what number is displayed? Probably 5 or 7?

If we are talking about this window under the metal grill / service cover, where the water hardness is displayed, unfortunately nothing is displayed.

In addition, I have to admit a mistake, it is EA8005, not EA8010, only now I looked at the nameplate and corrected the previous post.

Therefore, I would suggest looking at all electrical connections, cables, etc.

It looks as if at the moment of the greatest stress, pressure on the boiler, there was some short circuit or inaccurate contact of electrical connections.

Hello. I will join this mat because I have the same problem with the blinking LED from the reservoir. Model 8005.0 leaks. All seals replaced. The micro switches (there are 3) checked and after a few times 1 coffee starts blinking and sneezes. What's the problem?

    Added after 47 [minutes]:

In the manual I found "Continuously flashing light: functional anomalies" What could this mean?

Samo novi aparat, na žalost, Krups je napravio aparat sa par mikroprekidača koji nemaju nikakvu korist i koji poslednji izgore. PC board je problem.
Kod Krupsa je nakon 1 godine korišćenja sve problem.
