Hello dear colleagues, I have purchased a used coffee machine (as in the title).
The coffeemaker was making very weak coffee and had a poor spin on the grinder.
The reason was a grinder clogged with coffee, now they had their coffee normally, a strong brew comes out, but every few (two to three) cycles it performs a self test and asks you to empty the coffee grounds container, it does not display any error (apparently it was not there before).
What could be the reason for this, I will be grateful for your help.

Maybe rolled many times, but all the described cases were with errors, there is no error here, besides, I thought that in such a situation it would not pass the self-test, I will check and let you know

With you, the problem is the same, except that it does not occur every time.
Therefore, I exclude damage to the microswitch itself.
Probably the problem lies in the setting of the lever, which is not able to set itself correctly and press the microswitch every time.
It is difficult to pinpoint a specific fault, perhaps it is a matter of contamination of the lever itself, which has increased resistance to positioning.

Hello again, I am not able to confirm or rule out the suggestion.
The bottom contactor is operational, clean, and the mechanism is also ok.
After cleaning the coffee machine and checking all connections, it started to "work", why in quotation marks, or because it sometimes happens that when turning off (pressing the OFF button) he makes coffee, the problem described somewhere, but not solved from what I remember.

    Any suggestions?

Or maybe some calibration or Hard reset? Is there something like that?

The old type of steaming unit has this problem even though everything downstairs is nicely cleaned. The lever does not reach the microswitch and does not close it for a moment when the grounds are ejected - when the lower strainer is in the highest position, you do not hear the click of the switch
Newer bands don't have this problem - the spring helps to "push" the lever towards the switch.
Personally, I also use this procedure in old bands. How to do it ?
    1. Bend the ends (about 2mm) of this lower spring at a 90 degree angle

    2. I drill a small hole in the lower guide (the plate that comes under the nut) in the place where the spring sits on it. You have to choose a place that does not interfere with the nut

    3. I initially fold the plastic lever, then the spring with one bent tip fitted into the previously drilled hole in the plate.
    4. Now it's time to drill the same hole in the plastic of the lever where it touches the spring. You have to choose such a place that the spring is slightly taut - causing a small pressure of the lever towards the limit switch.

    5. Time to turn everything and check it "dry" by pressing the actuator slowly down and back to see if the switch clicks.

You can always make a different hole in the plastic by spring - by adjusting the force

    Good luck

I decided not to interfere with the equipment, because the problem occurs sporadically, I close the topic.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Krups EA8025 coffee machine, which, after cleaning the grinder, began to perform self-tests and prompt the user to empty the grounds container without displaying any errors. Users suggest that the issue may stem from a malfunctioning microswitch or improper lever positioning that fails to consistently activate the switch. One user mentions that older models often have this problem due to the lever not reaching the microswitch when grounds are ejected. Solutions proposed include bending the spring to improve lever contact with the microswitch, although one user opted not to modify the machine due to the sporadic nature of the issue.
