    Hello.

Did you use it and RT broke, or did you buy it and there are problems with RT from the beginning?

Upload a photo of this system, it will be easier to verify. Or at least describe how it looks (e.g. if or how many legs it has), because it might as well be the most ordinary in the world with such a marking 300k resistor.

works but it rains in the test that it is 60% pressed.

So there is a situation that it is able no pressure is 0% and how you press it is 60% ? It can actually be a signal transistor ... Possibly a mechanical element, because it is also possible, although less likely.

You need to shoot a photo of this system, then something more can be said.

And stands in the same place if you press RT? Does it not reach 100% at any time?

    Hello
to check sensor hall "and this is the 304 chip in newer pads from" slimek "
in older marked U10 on PCB

The Triggers use Linear Hall Sensors U10 (RT) and U11 (LT). They have 3 pins, 1 - VDD (power), 2 - Output, 3 - VSS (ground). The VDD for them comes from U9, which is turned on / off by U1 at 125Hz, 8ms period, On ~ 1.4ms, Off ~ 6.6ms (~ 18% Duty Cycle). This is done mainly to save power, but it also makes them a little harder to tinker with, but not impossible
    what checked efficiency falls ??
download "game controller tester" "from the xbox store or on the pc and we will see what to do next ....

This is an old post, But I came across it searching for a place to buy the 304 sensor. In my case, it's for an Xbox Elite series 2 controller but I'd assume it's the same sensor in most similar controllers too.

I've bought and fitted the A1304ELHLX-T by Allegro MicroSystems - and while it hasn't solved my problems, it does seem to work as well as the original and I'd call it a suitable replacement. I bought them from Digikey, and you should be able to find the sensor by searching for A1304ELHLX-T on Digikey's website.

    Hope this helps someone!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a malfunctioning RT button on an Xbox One 1708 controller, attributed to the SMD component marked as 304. Users describe symptoms such as inconsistent pressure readings and suggest that the component is likely a Linear Hall-Effect Sensor IC, specifically the A1304. Recommendations include checking the sensor's functionality, replacing capacitors, and using a game controller tester for diagnostics. Participants also share sourcing options for the A1304 sensor, with suggestions to purchase from suppliers like Digikey and AliExpress.
