Good Morning / Good Evening I have a problem I recently bought a computer from:

    Processor-AMD FX 6350
    2x4GB RAM
Motherboard - in this topic does not matter (rather)
    Graphics Card-GTX 750 TI

I do not know whether to replace the graphics card on the GTX 1050 TI because I checked how the processor works in relation to the graphics card and the graphics card in games still used 100% with jumps up to 90% and the processor was bored had 30-40% mainly 35%.
It seems to me that the guy who recommended me such a set deceived me a little because of this.
I don't want to buy the GTX 1050 (without TI) because it doesn't have 4GB of RAM in it.

I am waiting for a response

And I forgot to add that I have a 500 V power supply so the GTX 1050 TI should pull :D
And that I have 2x4 GB DDR3 so I do not know whether to replace it with 16 GB or not, but rather I know that it does not pay :D

Enter the model of the motherboard, please enter brand adapter, because it all matters.

What games do you play? How much money can you spend on new components?

I think 500W, this is a delicate difference.

    I know there is a difference between 500 V and 500 W I wrote quickly :D
    I have a motherboard - Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P
And the power supply -COOLERMASTER G550M 550W wrote at the auction that I have 550 W but from what I wrote on the power supply I have 500 W.
Please do not write that I have to change the power supply to 700 W because they are going for PLN 500 and over PLN 1000 I do not want to spend; (

This is not about the power supply only. You have a good power supply.

So it pays to buy the GTX 1050 TI and does it pay to buy 4x4 GB of RAM or buy 2x4 GB of RAM?

You haven't written what games you intend to play and how much you want to have FPS, so it will be difficult to determine if it makes sense.

However, cont. RAM is never too much :) It's best to buy the same bones you have so that they have the same size (GB) and frequency. But first write what you play.

This processor is rather too slow for better games. I am not sure about the actual 100% use of graphics in GTAv or Watch Dogs. But that would have to do logging into the file in hwinfo sensors only.

I checked using MSI Afterburner and it showed :D

    Added after 2 [minutes]:

I tested on The Forest game I can test on GTA V, Watch Dogs (1) and I don't have ARK yet; (
my brother has a computer with a worse AMD FX 4350 processor and better graphics GTX 660 (he is a lot better [5 FPS more in games] and he has more FPS from me, so the graphics card is the fault :D

Still, will the GTX 1050 TI support DVI-I (single link) because I have this adapter from Displayport to DVI-I (single link)

I am still waiting for an answer

I did the test in GTA V and showed the results:
    city: Graphics Card - 90-100% Processor -55-75% mainly 65%
beach and other wastelands: Graphics Card - 90-100% (yes again) Processor - 40-65% mainly 53%
I heard that when the processor is about 60-70% it is better to replace the graphics card instead of the processor so it seems to me that it is the graphics card's fault.
The reading I made on MSI Afterburner also adds a screenshot GTX 1050 TI Graphics Card Upgrade: Worth It for AMD FX 6350, 2x4GB RAM, GTX 750 TI Setup?

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

I can still do tests in Watch Dogs (1) and I don't have ARK yet; d

    Added after 10 [minutes]:

I will add that the computer will mainly be used for survival games and I rarely play GTA V sometimes I play but mainly I play The Forest, ARK and smaller survivals; d
for these games you have to have a good graphics card and I want to earn money on new games I KNOW I won't earn much, max PLN 10 / day but I can always earn a month I have a new game so please don't think that I still play GTA V and Watch Dogs and similar productions because I mainly sit in survival games

I am still waiting for an answer

Of course, with this earning I mean cryptocurrencies and I know that rates have dropped; d

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around whether upgrading from a GTX 750 TI to a GTX 1050 TI is worthwhile for a system with an AMD FX 6350 processor and 8GB of RAM. The user reports high GPU usage (90-100%) during gaming, while the CPU remains underutilized (30-40%). Responses emphasize the importance of knowing the games played and desired FPS to assess the upgrade's value. The user plays titles like The Forest, GTA V, and Watch Dogs, and tests indicate that the CPU may bottleneck performance. The GTX 1050 TI is confirmed to support DVI-I connections, and the user ultimately decides to proceed with the upgrade.
