    Hello
    I am the owner of a peugeot 307 sw 1.6 16v automatic 2005.
As in the subject, the car does not start ... only after pressing the gas and we only hold for 2-3 thousand. Turnover. After leaving the gas, the car goes out. The car does not run on all cylinders. Initially, we thought about removing the timing belt. He was replaced which did not change anything. Then the mechanic, after connecting to the computer, found that 2 injectors do not work. (Not swiching injectors cylinder 1 and 2) It was the cheapest option, so we changed the injectors, the problem remained. Probably the ECU ... what to do because I really don't know anymore. If it is an ECU or it PAYS OFF, it should be repaired. Anyone have any ideas, someone had a similar problem? Please help.

Give this car over to some more cunning mechanic. Ev. sell and that's it. After the treatments so far, I do not see any chance of a successful repair, since nothing has been checked and only parts have been replaced blindly.

Check the wiring harness from the injectors to the ECU, if the wires are OK, then dismantle the ECU and check for cold solders.

Go elsewhere to advise - you tell a layman to check the cold February in the driver, where the PCB is doing foil on an aluminum plate. The fault is most likely standard - a damaged ignition coil - both cylinders on the timing side will not burn. The controller, detecting misfire, cuts off the injectors to prevent the catalyst from flooding.

A colleague also had a similar problem with the Peugeot also did not smoke with 2 cylinders and it was not a coil, but a driver. After replacing the driver, the problem was resolved.

And my cousin's brother-in-law's uncle had just a damaged coil with such symptoms. Think about what you are writing - read the post in this thread for the first time, and then explain to the user how to adjust the new controller with a jump, matches and bicycle spokes. Because even with the interpretation and reading of the DTC it has problems.
Anyway, if you had a closer look at the issue, the same would be true

suggests what I wrote in the previous post - a breakdown between the long leads of the coil.
    Anyway, do what you want

I ordered a coil, we'll see if it fixes the problem. Thanks for the hint

Replaced the ignition coil plus 4 new spark plugs and the car fired the first time! Thank you for your help.

Topic summary

The owner of a 2005 Peugeot 307 SW 1.6 16v automatic reported a non-starting issue, where the car only runs when the gas pedal is pressed, and it does not operate on all cylinders. Initial diagnostics indicated two non-functioning injectors, which were replaced, but the problem persisted. Suggestions from forum members included checking the wiring harness to the ECU, inspecting for cold solder joints on the ECU, and considering a damaged ignition coil as a potential cause. The owner eventually replaced the ignition coil and spark plugs, which resolved the issue, allowing the car to start successfully.
