I am looking for a comprehensive 2in1 solution - i.e. an external router + antenna in one.
At the moment I tested MR-200 + various types of external antennas. DUD.
Yes I know - that the MR-200 is not a high-end router - but it has external antennas - so you could test different antennas.

At the moment I found the following models:

    - LTE Router Technologic ODU-3-16-N02
    - MikroTik SXT LTE

    Are they worth anything?

The location of the building where I need LTE is:
    Pomorskie / Rychnowy.

At present, the MR-200 has approximately 1Mbps in the building, after temporary transfer to the roof it already has a stable 22 Mbps - which is worth:]

Operator selection and equipment purchase is preceded by operator tests at a specific location. Purchase of MR200 for PLN 500 is an error, at this price you buy a router with aggregation of LTE bands and the possibility of forcing specific LTE bands and aggregation. In Plus, the closest BTS Plus in Człuchów in MOS, LTE1800aero2 and LTE800Sferii operate on it as well as aggregation of these two bands. In Rychnów, the range on LTE800 Sferia is slow because it is only 5MHz bandwidth in MIMO and DL up to 37.5Mbps. Operator selection is weak, Plus can be overloaded. What MR200 antennas have you tested? What LTE signal parameters do you have on your Cell Cell Info phone? This location uses Orange and T-Mobile which have their LTE800 in Rychnów. Plus 3BTS LTE1800NetWorks in Człuchów. Even Play, which in Człuchów has three BTSs with LTE1800, LTE2100 and LTE800 and LTE-A of them is a better choice. Purchase of Mikrotik for PLN 470 is another mistake, it has only LTE category 3 modem but works only on LTE1800 and LTE2600 and the built-in antenna has 9dBi gain. A better device is Technologic, it has a 3G / LTE modem working in all bands available in Poland, but only 3 categories. Price 550 PLN adequate to the possibility, 16dBi antenna gain questionable. Do LTE Plus tests on your phone with NCI and show screenshots, plus DL / UL at peak times. Home and roof tests.

There is no other option than the plus for today - although orange is possible in 2-4 weeks.
Which equipment should you buy for a plus and what Orange for?

The MR-200 has already proven itself in 6 locations - they work at LTE speeds of about 72Mbps, so it's decent.

This is a connection with the second Plus BTS at Słowackiego 19, the signal parameters are weak. There are licenses for LTE1800Aero2 and LTE800 Sferii but rather one of them works. You won't force a specific LTE band on MR200. You need to confirm under BTS whether LTE1800 is working and perform a test near it, compare the ECI with that in Rychnów. Speed tests are only relevant in the internet summit. MR200 is a router with WiFi in AC but LAN ports at 100Mb / s which is odd. A better choice is B315s-22, new for 350 PLN and used for 250 PLN. Works with LTEWatchH and Toolbox 0.9 with which you can force LTE bands, shows CID and BTS data. From routers with LTE-A for about PLN 500 you can buy B618, B525 or E5186, they work with these programs. Replacing the router will not help, the signal parameters are weak and an external directional antenna is required for the selected band. You didn't answer what you tested.

You didn't answer the question about the antennas you were testing. It is still not known how the LTE1800aero2 BTSs in Człuchów on MOS and Słowackiego are loaded and what speed they provide during internet rush hour. For this you need tests under them in your direction. Well, why just an external CPe on LTE instead of a router and a decent directional antenna?

On each of them - tragic range, transfer at around 6Mbps.
After issuing the MR-200 + factory whips - on the roof - 25Mbps

I have not tested the load on the roof router because the weather under the dog and I will not leave the router on the roof in the rain.

You haven't tested any antennas, only attenuators. It is widely known that inventions such as Signaflex etc., which are offered by 95% of sellers on Allegro, are garbage not worth even PLN 1. On Allegro ida like hot cakes because Janusz have no idea what they are buying and gulp this marketing gibberish, it's nice, business is going on. Therefore, first you do tests at home, check operators, bandwidth. Then, as I wrote the test on the phone under BTS to check what are the speeds with the correct signal. Finally, the selection of a proven directional antenna for the selected band and setting to a specific BTS. Just read my posts and see the results obtained by users who follow specific tips. In your case, it is 25Mbps on the MR200 on the roof in Plus, probably with LTE1800Aero2, if everything is confirmed, an effective Dual LTE antenna at 1800MHz should solve the range problems. Avoid the traders selling this shit on Allegro.

If the connection to LTE1800 Aero2 from Słowackiego is confirmed, then an effective antenna is http://www.cybertech.com.pl/p154,antena-dualna-lte-4g-15dbi-mimo-do-tp-link-archer-mr200-tl -mr6400.html cable as short as possible, maximum 10m. the antenna fits all LTE and LTE-A fixed routers with SMA connectors. As for the test, in the Network Cell Info application it showed you ECI and eNB BTS from Słowacki. You do the same under it and compare ECI.

I installed it and I'm a bit surprised.
The antenna is no better than factory whips, it is even worse, the range is 20% to 75% - for comparison in MR200 when it lies on the roof in the same place - a fixed 75%.
Maybe it was the antenna, although I did my best.

I would like to buy a signal meter so as to have 100% certainty and set it up as well as on our branches - under the required LTE ranges - what to choose ??
Cash - it doesn't matter. It has to handle what it has to do - and work a little.

There are no signal meters, such tools are the diagnostic options of the router FW. There are separate programs, scripts and applications for Huawei or computer for Huawei. They show the needed parameters of LTE / 3g signal and CID BTS. MR200 does not have it, nor does it work with any external program. The MR200 on the roof itself probably connects to LTE800Sferii on the Slovak, hence the signal level. The range on LTE800 is much larger. Plus provides coverage in Rychnów rather from this band. The antenna from cybertech is proven, I use 5 years in Plus with LTE1800aero2 myself, it gives a real gain of about 10-11dBi with a 10m cable. Requires accurate positioning on the BTS, the area in front of it must be clean and free of obstacles. Try in turn the settings for these two BTSs in Człuchów. in the settings on MR200 select the external antenna. there is clearly something wrong, signal jumps indicate that the router can connect to LTe1800 or LTE800. But this is its charm, it is not possible to force a specific LTE band or signal diagnostics.

For the price of MR200 you can buy routers with LTE-A, i.e.B525, B618, E5186. They run LTEwatchH or Toolbox0.9 programs and scripts for a computer or phone that can be used to force a specific LTE band and aggregation of LTE-A bands. They show BTS data and LTE signal parameters helpful in choosing and setting the antenna.

    I bought an E5186s-22a - and again there is a problem ..
Despite the external outputs for the antenna - there is no option in the menu for using them.

    Device name: E5186s-22a
    My number: Unknown
    Hardware version: CL1E5175HM
    Software version: 21.310.01.00.07
    Web UI version: 16.100.02.00.03

    Anyone help in this topic?
