Hello. As summer is almost complete you need to do the plumbing at home. I plan to set up a gas boiler + wood-coal stove, probably a tooth. My question is what pumps should I choose? We know many producers from wilo to lfp or invena. It is known that a plumber will also advise something, but I would like to ask what to choose to make it work smoothly? A 120 square meter house with a small attic.

Definitely don't buy the cheapest. Sometimes it is the case that when you pick up one pump or another, you can immediately see the quality of workmanship. If it's poor, it's not worth it. If you are not a professional, you are not familiar with hydraulics, rather technical specifications will not help you. What to choose? I have a Wilo pump for many years and it works flawlessly. What model will I tell you exactly, but it works, nothing happens with it and this is the most important for me.

The person above is right. First of all, look for a good plumber, he certainly has some insight. As for wilo, now I have wilo yonos pico. This was advised by a specialist. It costs about 400 zeta. There are probably two needed for the installation you describe :) So about 900 zeta, but you have good equipment in my opinion. Read about it, ask also the person who is overwhelmed by the topic. The most important installer, mine told me to take Wilo and not argue because in addition he can give a 5-year warranty (give it a big word because it cost me 100 zlotys .. but I have a problem with a breakdown in 5 years, the installer mentions ... I think that he will change the phone number ;)

    In a formal matter.
By topic, I thought it was about DHW, so the circulation pump is for DHW and what is the circulation pump.

As for pumps, it is only branded, i.e. WILO, GRUNDFOS, there will be a few recommended but I know these two by heart. Currently, these are only electronic pumps because they are energy-saving and efficient compared to old pumps. The expenditure of PLN 400-500 for one piece may scare some people away, but it is not worth saving, because it loses more cunning.
In the case of Grundfos, the choice is basically the Alpha2 series, where the display shows the power or water flow in m3. You choose the lifting height, i.e. a model e.g. 25-40 or 25-60 is at stake, because a more powerful pump is unnecessary.
Everything is best arranged with a specialist, as long as it is a trustworthy specialist and you should be satisfied with the operation of the installation, and if the pump 40 is too weak for your installation, the specialist plumber should replace you with 60, if you buy it then you may have a problem with replacement .

I have been using omnigen pumps in greenhouses for 6 years, operating in difficult conditions and intensive. The pumps work without fail and cost about PLN 100 each. There is nothing to invest in the 900 PLN pump because it is not known what will be in 10 years. Even if the pump broke after 5 years, replacement is trivial and cheap.
These so-called branded pumps do not offer as much as they cost.

If you have a pump from 6 years ago, it has 100% high power consumption.
    In turn, Alpha2 25-40 has a consumption of 3-18W, and 25-60 3-34W.
Assuming 25-60 and II gear, at a flow of 1.4m3 / h, the power consumption will be somewhere around 22 / 23W, old pumps had e.g. 75W.
Depending on the annual mileage and the difference in consumption, the energy consumption alone can save at least several dozen zlotys a year, so for example after 8 years of operation the pump will be "too free". Not to mention that the new pumps are much quieter than the old ones. While energy costs can be neglected in business operations, noise does not make a difference in a greenhouse, but in the apartment these aspects can be important.

I don't know this Omnigen brand, so I don't know how good this equipment is and I don't know if they currently offer any energy-saving models.
Ultimately, the investor decides what to buy and for how much.
