Hello all. I have a problem with my scenic and ultimately with a card and battery. I can't open the car with the remote control, I replaced the battery and the remote control is relatively new so I bet on a dead battery. I'm also unable to open the door with the key, as it has not been used and it revolves around in the lock. All that's left for me is to provide power supply for the battery to give electricity to the central lock. After diving under the car I could not find any place to connect with cables, only in the alternator it is probably possible to do it. Is the red alternator cable + or - in the photo attached?
Can I connect to the registration lighting, is it enough for the central locking?
Alternatively, where else can I connect with cables?

Fix the insert because you will often dive under the car.

I will definitely do it as soon as I can get to pl because I am currently abroad. Does anyone know if the cables can be connected to the registration backlight? ?

Use a smaller clip or maybe a piece of cable because it's a plus, minus connect e.g. to the gearbox housing. It should work. Just don't close it somewhere because it's tight. A helper needed.

The battery is charged by contact with the pockets, there is a spark and the 12 V light bulb also burns.

Could the card's offense fail something else in such a situation?

And what happens, you can not open despite supplying power, the red LED of the immobilizer is flashing in the car?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with a Renault Scenic II, specifically problems related to the remote control, battery charging, and central locking system. The user is unable to open the car with the remote or the key, which is attributed to a potential dead battery. Suggestions include connecting to the red alternator cable for power, as it is identified as the positive terminal. Caution is advised against connecting to the registration lighting due to potential damage to the vehicle's computer. The conversation also touches on the importance of ensuring proper connections and troubleshooting the immobilizer system if power is supplied but the car remains unresponsive.
