    Hello everyone,

I have a heartfelt request for advice, I have an APC BE700G-CP UPS, I got it from someone, the UPS is beeping continuously and the red indicator light is blinking every 1 second. Do I turn it on or off with the button (plug in the socket) shows the power supply at 230V outputs. When I pull the plug from the UPS, the current disappears. I took out the battery for 5 minutes, tried to reset and correct the contacts, I found such advice somewhere. I measured the meter, the AKU has 10.8 V. Unfortunately, my treatments did not help, according to the manual, the description of the error is an unknown fault of the AKU or a problem with the connection. I'm not an electronics engineer. Maybe someone had a similar problem. I will be grateful for every tip.
    best regards

Looks like the AKU is damaged. Try to charge it with a rectifier and then mount it to the UPS, or if you have a different battery, replace it and check what will happen then. Also check if there is a blown fuse in the UPS.

Thank you, Dude, for your answer, can I test a 12 V car battery from deasla to the UPS (quite large AKU, but 12V). Can I try it without harm?

You can connect, nothing will happen, just do not confuse the poles. best regards

Thank you, Buddy, the fault of the damaged AKU, and the new copy did the trick.
