Hello everybody.
I have a very interesting issue. Six months ago I replaced the battery in Cyberpower BNT-600AP UPS and everything was working OK. A few days ago I noticed that UPS won't hold when it is switched to battery mode.
What I noticed when I opened the device is that C18 was bad. I replaced it, but I still have the same issue..
I have tested the battery, and it is OK. I have used another one with the same result. In the end I used DC power, and with 12V I have the exact same behavior as with the battery. When I change the voltage to 13V, UPS can hold a low power device (up to 5W)..
My understanding is that the problem can be related to the part that is responsible for checking the battery state.. I'm thinking to replace also LM324N and LM317.
Did somebody have a similar issue? Any opinions about this situation? Thank you..
