    Hello,
I have a room which in winter cools down almost to ambient temperature, a difference of a few degrees on the + inside. this room is externally insulated, but due to the lack of heating in it, it cools down over time and keeps cold.
I have decided to heat it electrically this year, but I am looking for a device, not prohibitively priced, to regulate the switching on of the radiator so as to keep the inside temperature positive, within a few degrees, 2-5, and to keep it as simple as possible.
Perhaps an esteemed colleague has a solution to this issue.
    Regards,

    .

I have the impression that quite a few of the convection heaters or fan heaters or similar that are in the shops have an "anti-freeze" position on the thermostat (snowflake symbol). I have not checked this myself, but according to the manufacturers' descriptions in the instructions, this is used to keep the rooms a few degrees above freezing.
