    Hello ,
As in the subject, I wanted to fix the internet socket. Previously, I had a cable drawn from the router to the computer (cable signature 568A) into the room and it worked. During the renovation, I wanted to install a socket in the room, I cut the same cable on one side to the router and on the other end I cut the end off and plugged the cables into the socket according to the instructions for type A. To check it, I plugged the cable from the socket to the computer (signature 568B) and at this moment shock, it doesn't work. I tried to change the socket to type B and nothing. I'm asking for help because I'm in a total valley. I am attaching some photos.

Are the wires pressed into the socket with a suitable device or with your fingers?

On both sides it must be the same, either A or B let the colleague check if the cables are well inserted into the socket. Sometimes something doesn't connect and there is a problem

I pressed the cables with my fingers and I wonder if sometimes it is not too weak because the lagging around them is quite hard. : / and I also wonder if the cable at the outlet from the socket also has to be A-type as well as the one that goes into the room?

99% of the contacts did not cut the cover. This can be pressed in quite correctly with two thin screwdrivers

You do not have a plastic that presses the veins with insulation into these plates and cuts them ?? Alternatively, in the computer store, let them earn you a socket on a loose cable, e.g. 20 cm, and here you can connect color to color in a can and it should work

You need a tool like in the video - this is a krone knife.

If you have the A standard cable from the router, you do A everywhere on this line (and analogously with B).
However, it has been assumed that the B standard applies everywhere!

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around troubleshooting an RJ45 internet socket assembly issue involving 568A and 568B cables. The user initially had a working 568A cable from the router to the computer but encountered problems after attempting to install a socket during renovations. The user cut the cable and connected it to the socket according to the 568A standard, but when connecting a 568B cable from the socket to the computer, the connection failed. Responses suggest ensuring that the cables are properly inserted into the socket, using appropriate tools to press the wires securely, and maintaining consistency in wiring standards (either A or B) throughout the installation. A krone knife is recommended for proper termination of the cables.
