Question

Hello. Problem as in the subject. Due to defects in the box I am forced to replace it. The box was working with the Z12XE engine. The Allegro offered a F13 CR box which is identical to mine as per vin. This is the marking on my chest. And this is the marking from the box sent from the Allegro....

Thanks for the feedback. I mean checking whether the seller sold me the right crate or let me go in the raspberries. According to the link where the F13 marking is to be placed on the selector, these markings are on the pictures. Maybe coded by GM. Unfortunately disassembly and replacement costs a lot of work and it is not a pleasure to insert the wrong box, I ask for factual information.

The one on the allegro has the number GM 90 400 209 or the F13 gearbox on yours I can't see the last digits and I can only read GM 90 400

You read the numbering incorrectly, first the numbers are read in frames separately 90 400 209 and 432150 separately, and there are 209 instead of 200, there is no box with numbers 90 400 200. The box itself should match, at most you will have different gear ratios.

The seller claimed it was an F13 CR with a ratio of 3.94 and worked with a Z12XE engine. That's why I bought it because the car has the same engine. Does GM have different markings than Opel. I was based on the Opel description and nothing suited me. There are also markings on the selector cover but will they help?

I can honestly say that I am already lost, it seems to me that these GM numbers apply to a specific element of the box and in this case the numbers 90 400 209 are the most important because they inform about the given housing model. As for the specific model of the box and its gears, one would have to look for some engraving with markings. As I wrote, the box should fit physically and the ratios may differ, but if the seller claims that it is from the Z12XE engine, it is very possible that it is from such an engine.

I looked at my box from the channel and from above and found nothing else. Perhaps these are the symbols of the elements. In the repair book there is no mention of the gearbox. I will risk and put the bought one because the one that is at higher speed begins to howl. Question where to find the description or a cable about replacing the box in corsie c.
