    Hello,
I have a Netia Spot router (black standard). To eliminate dead spots at home, I bought a repeater (no company, so Made in China, but on the allegro makes a sensation and has positive reviews - that's what I suggested). After pressing the wps button on the repeater and router, the devices found themselves. The repeater is visible on the laptop (windows 8) but in the network tab there is an exclamation mark next to its name and after the expansion the message: "Information sent by this network may be visible to other users". You can connect, but the Internet does not work.
On the iPhone, after the connection is the message: Unsecured network. Open networks do not have security ... If this is your WiFI network, configure the router to use WPA2 Personal (AES) security. "And the same - there is no Internet. How do you solve this? I called Netia, but they do not know. that maybe it is via a variable IP address I do not know it completely, I thought that if the devices will be found, everything will be played, but unfortunately it is not. Has anyone had a similar problem and knows how to solve it?

Known problem with DHCP on Netia. The solution is to run the DHCP server on the repeater with the gate 192.168.1.254

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I do not know how to do it. I enter the Network and Sharing Center and I have a WiFi Netia spot connection there. I click on the link then the properties, then I select Internet protocol version 4, properties again. And there, by default, I get the IP address automatically. How do I mark manually typing, where should I enter the default gateway provided by you? And even if, what subnet mask and IP address? In addition, IP is variable - Netia consultant said that they change from 2 times a day, so it probably will not pass the exam ...
Unless it somehow runs the DHCP server differently on the repeater. But how?

I was talking about the configuration of the repeater, not the system.

A massacre with these consultants. It speaks about the external IP and we are interested in the network behind the router and the local IP address. The internet gateway is the address of Netia Spota which does not change.

OK I understand. Only how to run this DHCP server on the repeater? As I enter the default IP repeater in the browser's address bar, "Can not display the page". And in turn, when I started to fumble myself in these NetiaSpot configurations (I typed the IP such as the gate in the address bar and logged into the management console), it was something I swindled about, that the Internet appeared and disappeared in 1-minute intervals ... I was looking in Google how to do it but the tutorial I found did not help me. I do not know where to enter this gateway address, because in Netiaspot management console I enter into network settings and I want to configure some Access Point, I can only assign initial and final IP address and subnet mask. And the default gateway is not. Where to find the settings of this repeater?

NetiaSpota do not move, you set up the repeater only. Unfortunately, I would have to look at the instructions to say something more because I do not know this amplifier.

I was able to configure this repeater. I paste the picture of the repeater.
I will describe step by step, it may be useful to someone.
    1) We connect to the network using a repeater (although you can not open the Internet on it).
    2) In the address bar of the browser, enter http://192.168.10.1/ (I did wrong at the beginning because I tried to enter this address being connected to the network through the router and not a repeater).
    3) Enter the field Login: admin, and in the field Password: admin
    4) We choose the repeater mode as a repeater (access point)
    5) We choose the network of our router (I use Netia Spot) and enter the router password. We save the settings.
    6) Go to the Internet Connections tab or somehow yes. In the "DHCP server" selection field, select the enabled option. In the IP address field, enter the router's IP address 192.168.1.254.
    7) Save and it should work. On devices such as laptop or phone, after trying to connect to the repeater, we will be asked once to enter the password. You must enter the password of our router.

Subject to be closed. Unsecured Network Warning on iPhone and Windows 8 with Netia Spot Router and Wi-Fi Repeater

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues faced by a user with a Netia Spot router and a non-branded Wi-Fi repeater, specifically regarding unsecured network warnings on an iPhone and a Windows 8 laptop. The user experiences connectivity problems, with the laptop showing an exclamation mark and the message indicating that information sent may be visible to others, while the iPhone reports an unsecured network. Solutions proposed include configuring the repeater's DHCP server to use the router's IP address (192.168.1.254) and enabling DHCP on the repeater. Step-by-step instructions for configuring the repeater are provided, including accessing the repeater's management console and setting it up as an access point.
