    Hello
I have a problem with my Zgemma Star 2S tuner, i.e. it hanged me a couple of times today and after reboot it had a problem with restarting. Currently, for nothing in the world I do not want to start the boot, it stands on a red control and nothing moves.

I have ruled out the power supply because it is in working order, the condensers are also okay. It is not an old equipment because it is maybe half a year old.
During this time I was very happy with him, he went on OpenATV 5.3 without complaint.
Do you have any ideas what could have failed? Will the repair be profitable?
In the annex, inside photo. I will be extremely obliged for any suggestions.

Repair, the problem is not a malfunction.

Buddy, go to some good service, boxing is 100% repaired though it's an older version of the motherboard that you can fix it.

If this is a problem with the bootloader then yes, if you do not forget about the jtag. Unfortunately, most of the forums can not cope with jtag because the problem is elsewhere.

Thanks for the info in the subject, I am willing to try to resuscitate him Jtag.
Will someone tell me what kind of Jtag I need to buy? I am thinking of something like "The ATMEGA64 launch module"
The question of the program remains.

Buddy, all the descriptions you have on the internet with photos of how to use jtag in boxes of zgemma, may it be enough in your case only jtag :) if not, then you are left because the box is recoverable.

I read somewhere on the net that it is worth trying even a dozen times to make a flash via usb for a long time holding the Power button.
It is also worth changing the installation file noforce to force in the installation directories.

After a dozen or so without any effective attempts, I left it with the pendrive inserted for about 15 minutes, after which the tuner suddenly stood up and started loading the image files.
Soft installed correctly and so far everything is ok.
    Thanks for the help
