Hello, I send photos of the place where it squeals when the car lights up, when the car warms up after traveling several dozen kilometers, it squeaks less as if it stopped. Please reply.

You probably have a belt to replace. Take a small test. Squeeze a little WD directly onto the strap, as the squeaking silences this exchange.

I would bet the belt tensioner.

At least you have to start with it as I wrote above.

VW Passat B5: Squeaking Pipes near Belt - Causes & Solutions for Cold & Warm Engine DiZMar no offense, but you wrote "stretch the belt." There is no adjustment, the belt will not stretch because the tensioner is spring loaded.
I mean the "bearing" tensioner itself may be squealing.

I had the same thing at home. Replacing the tensioner with a new one solved the problem.

Not the "bearing" squeals "but the poorly tightened belt slips and squeaks. There were tensioners with manual adjustment of belt tension and it was enough to change the position of the tensioner wheel. The reason for belt squeaking is because it is too tight. This automatic so replacing the tensioner with a new one. In both cases, greater belt tension in the way that is available on your car model will help. I wrote well.

"pacak24" I have a request, if you manage to solve the problem, write what was the reason for this squeaking.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a squeaking noise from the VW Passat B5, particularly near the belt area when the engine is cold, which diminishes as the engine warms up. Responses suggest potential causes including a loose or worn belt, a failing belt tensioner, or issues with the tensioner bearing. Solutions proposed include tightening the belt, applying WD-40 to the belt, or replacing the tensioner altogether. Users emphasize that the tensioner is spring-loaded and cannot be adjusted manually, and replacing it often resolves the squeaking issue. The importance of checking belt tension and condition is highlighted, with a request for feedback on the resolution of the problem.
