What are the symptoms of a damaged wrist ext. in the b5 FL 1.9TDI strap?
I exchanged it for an outdoor vacation because it was knocking. After the exchange I heard some "stresses", crackles, squeaks from the pedals. Rather, it was such a sound as if the pedals creaked from old age and required lubrication with some spray agent. I drove on. The squeaking stopped, but the right knock sound came slowly again with the wheels turned right and forward / backward. After some time I replaced this wrist again. After this exchange, there were crackles from the pedals / box side again, so I analyzed them more thoroughly. When I go straight and then turn right, I can hear this screech and creak. When I turn right all the time and drive forward, then I go back, nothing. I have to go straight a little, then turn right and only then can I hear this creak. Of course, with time it stops and the right joint is again to be replaced, because with a strong turn it shoots, and after undressing the balls are crushed. It makes no sense to change the right wrist in circles, I need to find out the reason. He finds two (I think so):
    1. Half-curve - but from where? there is no reason for it to be a curve, nothing happened, I didn't have any unexpected actions
    2. Right inner joint - it has never been replaced, but does it affect damage to the outer right joint?
I'm in a pinch, I have no ideas .... anyone knows the symptoms of this strange behavior?
The car itself, even at the dynamometer, spat out 138km and something ~ 330-340 newtons from what I remember, suspension done, the same symptoms on summer (alu rims) and winter wheels (nibs). Shields also made, bosh blocks themselves - almost all, nothing creaks, nothing throws the wheel: /

The inner joint may get stuck and the shaft will not move when turning towards the box.

Hello, I would also put on the inner joint and for peace when the half-shelf is removed, throw it on such rollers on which you can check the runout. In practice, it doesn't have to happen for the half-axle to bend. These things just happen if there was something with a suspension, for example.

For information only - I had a Passat meeting with a high curb and mechanics replaced the swingarm with a new one. I rode after this fact for about 6 months, i.e. until the wheels were changed into winter tires, and then the specialist stated that I had a lot of slack in the right wheel bearing, resulting from the unscrewing of the axle nut. He tightened the nut "pneumatically" and I was calm for a week.
Unfortunately, the axle nut has loosened, so I tightened it tightly, adding a counter, i.e. a second nut. Despite this, the fault repeated, so after lifting the wheel and turning it, I noticed the curve of the drive shaft, which the mechanics did not notice before. All in all, I had to replace the wheel hub and axle shaft because of their fault, because the axle shaft caused the hub to "decalibrate" the bearing.
It is also true that there were no suspicious signs while driving. fault.

To sum up, check that you don't have a drive shaft curve.

The car can be ringed. And it doesn't keep the distance which can damage joints.

Is not :-) Before, everything was fine. Although reportedly 90% of the belts are currently on the market, this folding was never folded :-)
It came about while doing the suspension this summer, and we managed to set the convergence. Since then, I have constantly replaced the right wrist.
