Hello, can you somehow update / upload a new map in the Manta GPS570 navigation without a memory card? The navigation uses Navigator Free maps and from what they want to load use a memory card. I would add that there was no memory card in the set.

I connected the navigation to the USB port and the computer does not detect any storage media (even the built-in memory).
Someone could light up the topic of uploading maps.

Thank you in advance for your help :)

If Manta works in ActiveSync mode, you must have (to connect to your computer) ActiveSync (WinXP) or MediaDeviceCenter (from Vista and above)
In MassStorage mode, the computer should see the navigation as a disk.

I recommend the MS mode for map installation, for normal AS operation

PS 4GB / 8GB memory card is really no expense, and can be useful when you want to change the navigation program or use Manta to watch movies ...

And when I buy this memory card, upload the map and insert it for navigation, will the navigation detect a new map itself, will it be necessary to remove something from the device's internal memory, etc.?

Insert, set the path, you don't need to delete anything.
