    Hello.
I recently bought GoClever navio 2 740 (unlocked). Everything fans great, only the problem is that when I insert a micro SD card with auto map and in the navigation settings I choose the map path and go back to the main menu and try to start the navigation, it tells me to choose the map path. And when I enter the settings and there I go to the SD card and the map folder of the cars and click on it it starts without a problem.
Thank you in advance for your help.

First of all, what is this "unlock" and what is the desktop. The second is whether during this "dialing":

you point to the appropriate * .exe file that launches AM.
I asked about the desktop, because you write "unlocked", maybe you have uploaded some desktop with the shortcut (icon) to AM and the wrong path (or name) of the AM launching file is given and that's why it happens, but at a distance and without this (certain) information it's hard to figure out what could be the reason.
When selecting the path to the SD card, select as executable wceAm.exe or AutoMapa EU.exe

As he informed the guy from whom I bought the GPS, it is unlocked in the sense that I can use other maps on it, as I described the problem to him, he sent me to the goclover website. They wrote to me that GPS was tested and works correctly in the sense that it works on an auto map and map map. In the settings it gives a good map path, no mistake because I do not do it for the first time I only used the official GPS "smart GPS" but it works very hard with the auto map, so it hangs so the auto map that I have is not damaged either. As for the desktop I want, I have a wince icon in the settings and when I click on it, it normally switches to me like on Windows, i.e. I have a star, my computer, etc. and in this way I can start the auto map.

I know that (more or less, with this device). You write that you have in the device options the path selection for the navigation program, so after selecting the * .exe file and saving the path should run the selected program. In some devices, after selecting the path to the program, you have to confirm / save it, as here:

(some do not require it, just select "go back" to the main screen after choosing).
Maybe this is also the case for you and after selecting the * .exe file you still need to confirm, because the "old path" to another program remains. After this "procedure" the selected program should start from the "Navigation" button or similarly named. These are just guesses, but I advise what I know.

I do not think so. I do not have GPS with me, I will have it in the evening, if the old path was left, that it would not display information that I should choose the path, only that it would run the original map

Well, you are right, but ... if it read the correct path to the file you are pointing to (and which starts with a "direct" click in Windows, as you write), I see no other option that it does not run after pointing to the correct path. Either you make a mistake while pointing to the file, or you point to the wrong file to run, or you have something else added on this device, or you want to run not from the button that serves it, I see no other option ... Next thing, never check automatic booting from an SD card, when the software "falls" on the card, many devices have already "lost the spirit", the software has fallen, the path indicated, but it can not start. Not all of them have it, but many have "such an option" that in the absence of an executable file and the path to it indicated earlier it is looped and to do something with it, deeper intervention is needed.

I work in a transport company, so I play a little with running the auto map and on an older goclever model and on a smart GPS I set everything up and works and I doubt that suddenly I wouldn't be able to set the map path on this GPS, that's why I wrote in the forum because I never liked it didn't happen so that I couldn't start the map auto

I'm not saying you can't run and you don't have "practice", but it is always possible to make a mistake. I am just saying that since the program starts "manually", then with the correct path setting in the device there is no option for it not to run. If there is any original software (navigation program) on this device, set the path to it and try to start it as intended. If so, it will be as I wrote, or you make a mistake when pointing the path to the program, or maybe this program (AutoMapa) is "anything" damaged, because as I wrote, in this case there is no other option. Or you have something changed in the device by how you wrote "unlock", which in this device is unnecessary because practically as there is a choice of path to the navigation program, no unlocking is needed.

The case looks like that when I set the path to the auto map it shows me that I should set the path but then I set the path to the original map and it works, and so the card with the auto map was tested on 4 other GPSs and works

Take screenshots one by one from booting AM from Windows CE and setting the path.
Maybe you have two AM (or new + rubbish from the old one from its predecessor and in the path you indicate these remains)
He has been dealing with GPS for 10 years and I have such simple mistakes that I'm ashamed to write ...

OKAY. I will make screenshots but I don't know when, because I'm still at work all the time and I'm crazy when I have peace, I'll try to make them and throw them. Sooner I will throw them calmly tomorrow afternoon.

    Try doing this:
Paste only the AutoMapa EU folder onto the card ("hack" it from the AutoMapa folder. 6.24.1804.Europa.Gotowa.SD ... and I don't know what's still there). Insert ONLY directly into the SAM folder Automapa EU WITH ITS CONTENT . And then choose the path, preferably pointing to the file wceAm.exe. You have to do it (change the folder structure) so that the path is only "in" the window SDMMC \ AutoMapa EU \ wceAm rather than many folder levels.

You can also the one you indicated in the picture, but it seems to me (maybe it only seems) that the wceAm.exe file starts better (faster). The reason may be too extensive folder structure and the system "does not make" with the path name length (too many characters in the path in the situation you indicate) and therefore the system does not see the file, it simply cannot remember such a long path name.

I did it so you advised, it actually worked. Strange because the service GPS is worse and they work as I did before and they really have a worse system and are weak. The system could not cope with the name of the AutoMapa.6.24.1804.Europa.Gotowa.SD folder it turned out to be too long, e.g. when I shortened this name to AutoMapa. 6.24.1804. Europe also works.
    Thank you for your help.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a navigation issue with the GoClever Navio 2 740 GPS device, specifically regarding the inability to start the AutoMapa navigation software after setting the map path on a micro SD card. Users suggest that the problem may stem from incorrect path selection or the need to confirm the path after selection. A solution is proposed to simplify the folder structure on the SD card, which resolved the issue for the original poster. It was found that the length of the folder name could affect the device's ability to recognize the path, and shortening the folder name allowed the navigation software to launch successfully.
