Ambilight appeals to me (I know it's just a gimmick)

If you care about ambilight, you have no choice - only Philips. It is a patented technology.

    They are all basic 60Hz.
You will not buy a 120Hz TV for the amount you have. You would have to increase your budget x2

    Sony KDL-43WE750 about PLN 2,499.00

In fact, the 6262 has a refresh rate of 60Hz. Maybe it is worth opting for a slightly older 6501? It has 100 Hz refresh rate, also comes with ambilight, so it will meet your requirements. And you should almost certainly stay within your budget (although I don't remember these prices anymore).

But will the eye catch such a difference in the picture? Ambilight already attracts attention to the max ;) .

Topic summary

The discussion centers around selecting the best 43-inch TV for gaming, movies, and PC use among three models: LG 43UJ635V, Philips 43PUS6262, and Samsung UE43MU6172. Users express a preference for Philips due to its Ambilight feature, which is noted as a unique selling point. However, all models are confirmed to have a basic refresh rate of 60Hz, which may not meet the needs of high-performance gaming. Suggestions include considering the older Philips model 6501, which offers a 100Hz refresh rate and Ambilight, potentially fitting within the budget of approximately PLN 2300. The conversation highlights the importance of refresh rates and the appeal of Ambilight technology in decision-making.
