    Hello.

I need a third remote control for the splendoor gate, unfortunately I have no idea what to buy.
I add photos of the remote control and its tiles, maybe some of you will help.

The pilot does not have to look identical but it would be nice if it happened.
Maybe one of the universal pilots from the popular auction site will fit, but which one?

    Best regards and help please.

The most reliable solution is to buy a "radio line" (provided there is an output for external control), the same looks for the Hato remote control housing, but the PCBs look different, the remote controls can be programmed differently and then you will do nothing. Sometimes you can be "lucky" that the receiver will only use a fixed code part, then you can use different remote controls for the same frequency and on the same (similar) system, if you have a remote control from something else, or borrow from someone, then you can try program.

    Is the system HCS301?

    This is the HCS101 system

So this is a fixed code, you can try some self-copying remote control, although with these inventions it is different and I do not guarantee operation, HCS101 is not very common and there may be a problem with the purchase (at least I do not know the remote controls on this).

Do you want to add another remote control, is this one out of order?

Another remote control I intend to add, I have already bought a remote control with a permanent code and copied the remote control but it does not work with the gate.

Since the factory remote controls are still on a fixed code, you can buy an invention for PLN 60 with two remote controls and a shipment, possibly a product from AMT - they say there is a changeable code.

PS It is worth considering the installation slightly distant from the radio path of the original receiver to avoid deterioration of the range.

Buy a receiver e.g. Proxima and connect instead of the wall button.

Hello. I have the same entrance gate splendoor janus and I would also like to program the remote control replacement, unfortunately I lost the original one. From what you write, you can sign the proxima nm driver for the radio. Today I made an order for such a driver. Only could someone explain to me how to connect it? Thanks in advance. Regards

    Hello.

Finally, I called the manufacturer and ordered two original remote controls, price PLN 120. with courier delivery dpd download.
What I meant was that all the remotes were the same and had a blockade against accidental opening of the gate.

    Regards.

Everything works as it should ;) I even open the gate with the remote control from the switchboard

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around finding a replacement remote control for a Splendoor gate. The user initially seeks advice on compatible remotes, sharing images of the existing remote. Responses indicate that the gate operates on the HCS101 system, which uses a fixed code, making it challenging to find compatible universal remotes. Suggestions include purchasing a self-copying remote or a receiver like Proxima to connect instead of the wall button. The user later confirms ordering original remote controls from the manufacturer, ensuring compatibility and functionality. The conversation highlights the importance of understanding the coding system and the potential for using alternative solutions.

FAQ

TL;DR: Expect ~PLN 60 for an external “radio line” with two remotes; “The most reliable solution is to buy a ‘radio line’.” [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708465]

Quick Facts

Who is this FAQ for, and what problem does it solve?

For Splendoor gate owners who need a working replacement remote. It shows when to buy original remotes, when to add an external receiver, and how to wire it for reliable control. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708465]

Which replacement remote works best with Splendoor gates?

Two reliable routes exist: buy original Splendoor remotes, or add an external “radio line” receiver kit that includes its own remotes. The latter avoids protocol mismatches and is cost‑effective for multiple users. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708465]

What is HCS101, and does it use a fixed or rolling code?

HCS101 is a remote encoder IC used in some Splendoor setups. In the reported case it operated as a fixed‑code system, which limits compatibility with universal clones. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708201]

My universal fixed‑code remote cloned the signal but the gate doesn’t respond—why?

Cloned fixed‑code remotes may still fail due to timing, format, or receiver expectations. One user copied a code yet the gate did not work, which led them to alternate solutions. [Elektroda, Balon14, post #16708265]

Should I install an external receiver like Proxima?

Yes, when protocol mismatches block cloning. An external receiver wired to the wall‑button input sidesteps the original radio and pairs easily with new remotes. “Buy a receiver e.g. Proxima.” [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16708854]

How do I wire a Proxima receiver to a Splendoor Janus?

Use the wall‑button terminals. 1. Power the receiver per its diagram. 2. Connect receiver relay outputs across the gate’s manual button contacts. 3. Pair remotes per receiver instructions and test. Refer to the shared wiring graphic. [Elektroda, PROXIMA sj, post #16749906]

Will the add‑on receiver reduce the range of my original radio?

Mount the extra receiver slightly away from the factory receiver path to avoid range deterioration. Keep wiring tidy and avoid RF shadows near the control board. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708465]

Do Hato-lookalike remotes work with Splendoor?

Housing similarity misleads. PCBs and programming often differ, so pairing may fail despite identical shells. Physical resemblance is not a compatibility guarantee. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16707543]

How much did users pay for originals vs. add-on kits?

One user bought two original remotes for PLN 120 delivered. Another suggested an external radio kit at ~PLN 60 including two remotes. Choose based on desired uniformity and budget. [Elektroda, Balon14, post #16750186]

What is a “radio line” in gate control?

A “radio line” is an external RF receiver with its own remotes. It connects to the gate’s manual input, bypassing protocol issues while preserving safety interlocks. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708465]

My manual says the drive accepts variable (rolling) code—what then?

If your drive supports rolling code, you can still use an external receiver or buy compatible remotes. The thread notes documentation mentioning variable code acceptance. [Elektroda, Balon14, post #16708834]

I lost the original remote—can I still operate the gate soon?

Yes. Order an add‑on receiver and pair its remotes to the wall‑button input. A user confirmed full operation afterward, even from their switchboard remote. [Elektroda, Elvis18, post #16765115]

Any edge cases I should know before buying a universal clone?

HCS101 setups can be rare, and self‑copy remotes may not work even after cloning. When that happens, switch to an external receiver solution for guaranteed pairing. [Elektroda, elektryku5, post #16708201]

Why did one user still pick original remotes?

They wanted all remotes identical and with an accidental‑opening lockout. They called the manufacturer and ordered two originals for PLN 120 delivered. [Elektroda, Balon14, post #16750186]

Can I control the gate with a non-gate remote (e.g., from a switchboard)?

Yes. After installing the external receiver, one user reported opening the gate with their switchboard remote, showing flexible pairing options. [Elektroda, Elvis18, post #16765115]
