    Hello,
    I need information because a conservator is waiting a month here ... and that's a simple question :) The tile master dismantled the ladder radiator, it has a return valve. The heater does not heat. I loosened the hexagon on the valve slightly because I was afraid of flooding and the radiator got slightly warm. I think there was a problem here, but I don't know how much it needs to be unscrewed so that it does not pressure up. Elbow, Simplex embossed on the side.     Unscrew enough to keep the Allen key about 1-2mm below the valve body. Water may fly, which is normal. The outer nut seals it.

    In normal heating installations, this valve is used to equalize the pressure in the entire heating installation (not often in Poland). Fitters use it to open shut the energy carrier in.
