    Hello!
I have a thermostat that heats all the time (after adjustment by a specialist). Unfortunately, I did not see how it got to him and regulated. I am asking for help, how to remove the head and adjust the thermostat? I present everything in the photo.

There is a large nut on the side of the valve. If you unscrew it, the head will come off the valve together with this nut. On the valve, around the pin that presses the head in, there is a profiled ring. If you look at it, you will notice stamped numbers on it. , you can adjust the flow by turning it. This is called crisscrossing.

You mean the nut that I marked in the photo? I want to make sure because I do not want to flood the apartment if unscrewing it would lead to a leak from the central :) . However, as for the scale, it is at a minimum and the circulation is not interrupted (the radiator heats up non-stop).

Go ahead, you can unscrew it, nothing will happen, as a colleague wrote above, you have adjustment behind the nut.

this is what it looks like after removing the head.

    Hello,

I have a similar problem with the Junkers head. The radiator, despite turning off, still heats up to the maximum.
I attach photos of the valve with the head. How to disassemble this thermostat ?? Can I act as described above ??

    Thanks for the advice

If the radiator heats up - despite turning off the thermostat, it is not a case of flaring, but a malfunction of the thermostat. Maybe some debris got into the valve and prevents it from closing completely (after removing the head, just apply the N-position casing for 15 minutes, for a greater flow to rinse the valve, and then restore the casing to the previous value). If it does not help - a head defect. This metal bellows may be damaged, in which there is gas which expands due to heat (or vaporizing liquid) and when it expands, it closes the plug. If this bellows was perforated, the thermostat will never work (the head must be replaced, or at least this bellows). Contrary to appearances, these heads can be dismantled. Maybe there is damage in the head plug (it is a material), so it does not press the valve needle. You will probably need to buy a new head. Regarding post # 2, the encroachment regulates the max. heating medium flow, but it does not affect the thermostat (the problem in post # 1 is also on the side of the head, not the crossover). Maybe it was worn carelessly?

Not only can it be debris, I do not know the structure of the Junkers valve, but the spring in the Hertz valve may get blocked due to the accumulation of sediment. It would be best to screw the mushroom on the valve, as then the valve closes, it is the head's fault, if not, the valve's fault, if someone likes to play, he should unscrew the valve and unscrew it, more than once it is enough to clean it to resuscitate it.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around troubleshooting a constantly heating thermostat and the process of removing the Danfoss valve head for adjustment. Users provide guidance on unscrewing a large nut on the side of the valve to detach the head, which allows access to an adjustment mechanism for regulating flow. Concerns about potential leaks during the process are addressed, with reassurance that unscrewing the nut will not cause flooding. Additionally, a user with a similar issue regarding a Junkers head describes their radiator heating despite the thermostat being turned off, suggesting possible debris blockage or a malfunction in the thermostat's bellows. Recommendations include cleaning the valve and considering head replacement if issues persist.
