Hello, I have a small problem with my car. Namely, for several days I have been the owner of the Volkswagen Passat B6 from 2005 (1.9 TDI) so I decided to replace the brake pads. The only question I have is whether after replacing them some lights or something will not light me because I plan to replace it myself and go to connect to the computer.

You need to connect the computer, you must retract the rear terminals with the computer and after installing the new ones you need to calibrate the rear terminals.
I heard that there are combinators which withdraw the pistons from the external battery but it may end differently.

Does it apply to both front and back?

you press the front piston normally, the back you have to withdraw the computer and then push the piston, after folding the back you close the rear calipers and makes yourself or you have to do the adaptation, i.e. the calipers as I remember remember to clamp and release twice.

    Believe me, nobody knows it.
If something goes wrong in the front, the used pad indicator lights up.
If something goes wrong in the back and the handbrake lights come on, a buzzer sounds that does not close even while driving.
    The choice is yours.
