    Good day.

I would like to deal with the repair of the washing machine.

The E40 error popped up in the washing machine mentioned above. After browsing the Internet, I found information that the cause of the failure could be related to the door lock or its control. I also found a guide on how to check the condition of the mechanism. I got inside and the end of the cord to the lock (ankle) on one joint is burned out. The question is whether this causes an error or should you also replace the entire mechanism? And will I be able to replace only this ankle or maybe I will have to replace the whole cord?

I attach pictures of the wire and the mechanism itself. Clean the contacts, cut the blades in the plug for better contact, assemble and check if it works.
If the plug can not be repaired then you can use four individual "car" connectors - just do not mistake the order of the wires.

Do not clean anything, just cut and put on connectors. Only troubles can wait for you from this burnt plug-in.

Just cut out this burned out fragment and put a clip on the cut out cable.

After connecting the lock in the door with connectors, the error has disappeared, but the lock itself works terribly loud - you can hear loud loudspeakers. It looks like the blockade itself is defective. I will order a new one from the Internet.

Order and save the washing machine until the new lock comes. I remember putting the connectors in a thermocouple, which would not be surprising

I connected a new lock of the lock and the same as on the old one - a loud buzz, a little bit and again the error E40. I marked all plugs before connecting them with connectors, I also secured the plugs with insulating tape. Any ideas what's next? I was able to call in the repairman in nn, I went too ambitiously to repair myself ...
