I know that the topic was similar, but not quite the same as for me. Daf is my new car, 2011.
I tried to connect the exhaust hose in the cabin, and unfortunately, as it turned out later, I inserted the end into the electric wire under the driver's seat, the one next to the pilot. It sparked and the error crashed "Central vehicle control device error".
I checked the fuses, they are all ok, I also bought a relay, replaced them with all of them and still nothing. Or maybe someone knows where the cause may be? Apart from the message, everything works.
