Hello. I have a problem with a Kiano tablet, the device does not want to charge the battery on a connected charger. It turns on only on the charger for a moment and then turns off immediately. I took apart the tablet and measured the voltage on the 4.7V battery. After switching on, it squeaks all the time to connect the charger. Maybe anyone has any idea?

Desolder the battery, plug in the charging, check the voltage on the pads where the battery was soldered.

    I have already checked 0.32V.

.... it should be around 4.20V
Peel off this cover so that the electronics can be seen and add clear photos in high resolution.
Of course, you connected the power supply to the power socket and not to one of the USB from what I remember, some KIANO models only charge the battery from the power socket. And the USB sockets are HOST USB and the other separate is the OTG socket.

Have you measured this voltage on a soldered battery?
What battery does it go there? 3.7V or 7.2V?

It's hard for me to say they are 2 connected together. I have an idea to buy rechargeable batteries together to 4.8V and try if it will work. The charger is 5v 2A. I measured on a soldered battery

    The battery is usually on:
    3.7V max charged to 4.2V
    and
    7.4V max charged to 8.4V

Strip these black tapes and check each link separately.
Provide the model of this KIANO
And smell if the battery does not smell such a sweet smell lithium, if so it is damaged put it in a bag and close tightly and recycle the vapors are poisonous.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Kiano tablet that fails to charge, turning on briefly before shutting down. The user measured the battery voltage at 4.7V and reported a continuous squeaking sound when attempting to power it on with the charger. Suggestions include testing with a different battery, desoldering the battery to check voltage on the pads, and ensuring the charger is connected to the correct power socket, as some Kiano models only charge from the power socket. Further measurements revealed voltages of 0.32V and 5.14V at various points in the charging system. The user identified the battery as having two cells, with one at 2.8V and the other at 1.8V, and noted a sweet smell indicating potential damage. The model in question is the Kiano 10 Dual.
