    Hi.
Today, in my nc + decoder, my parents' picture died and both converters lack signal strength and quality. The NLB short circuit error appears.
The installation has been working for over 2 years without problems, today nothing has been done. The converter is dual (i.e. 2 cables from one) :)
After unplugging the converter and decoder, the cables do not have a short circuit.
Is it a good idea that the trail hit the converter?

    greetings

I have not encountered a converter damage that makes it short circuit. Combining so bad. Sooner, water somewhere rusted and I found that the short circuit was in the decoder head. (Rust, pieces of rust torn off)

I also thought that water or what. But I turned it dry. According to me, it is suspected that 2 separate cables will hit the trail at the same exact moment. Tomorrow I will try to replace it with some other converter and see what will happen.

The installation had functioned without problems for over two years. The user suspected that a trail hit might have affected the dual converter setup, as both converters were showing issues simultaneously. Responses suggested checking the connections and considering water damage as a potential cause. Ultimately, the user replaced the converter, which resolved the issue.
