Golf 4 1.9 tdi 90 KM 99 year, everything worked, the pilot crashed and the wife opened the key as if she had been driving for one month. I have repaired the remote control, closes and opens but still the same. Anyone have any idea ?? Maybe an immobilizer? I am from Elblag, maybe somebody knows something in this field?

After turning the ignition, the lights and the immo light up normally and then go out ... Then nothing shines

    Added after 3 [minutes]:

It's like: I light up, catch it but it doesn't work for 1 or 2 seconds. It's like something inhibiting it ... And what if immo what is being done in this situation? exchanges, recodes ?? best to leave it out of the damn thing because it's a very old car

If you ask about such things, all you have to do is give your car to the workshop.

And don't you smoke white for these 2 seconds? Sometimes when you flap you go out. it will cut the same fears.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 1999 VW Golf 4 1.9 TDI experiencing starting issues, where the engine fires briefly for 1-2 seconds before shutting off. The owner suspects an immobilizer problem, especially after the remote control was repaired but did not resolve the issue. Responses suggest that the immobilizer may be the culprit, with indications that the immo light behaves normally before the engine fails to stay on. Suggestions include checking for a lost transponder key and considering professional assistance for repairs or recoding the immobilizer system.
