Volkswagen golf 4 1.4 16v - The starter is not turned, the lights are on

Hello, I have a problem, my girlfriend went to school 100 km from her place of residence and I know what happened only on her part, she started the car, she drove 20 meters, the car went out after turning the key again, the lights were on, but the starter did not start, it was not possible to fire it or for pride, neither for cables and the question of what could have happened because I do not know whether to borrow a tow truck and download it, can it be a problem with the battery or alternator? Please help

Probably not - apparently the lights come on only "the starter does not spin" ...
The problem is that it went out when driving after 20s - so it's not the starter fault.

Necessary diagnostics and preliminary measurements of supply voltages, ground, fuses, ...

Too far for a tow truck, look for a garage nearby, unless it has a policy.
