Choosing the Right Decoder for Your TV: DVB-T vs DVB-C, Manta DVBT010, Cable & Satellite

I don't know exactly what decoder to buy.
The TV does not have any tuner, the cable goes from Mutlimedi and there is a wealth of 10 channels direct by coax.
Once, I connected the DVBT010 Manta for a bit and there were a few new polo tv types and stuff. Now I plan to buy something permanently so that there are more channels, but what to choose because I have a confusion in my head - like I do not receive from the satellite dish, and from the cable - so DVB-C, but if DVB-C is what right DVB-T tuner worked?
Generally, what standard / decoder should you choose to capture as many channels as possible?

It is pretty beautiful if I could easily determine what signal goes through this concentrator, these links I came across before a layman in these matters will not help.
Like cable because the cable goes from .... knows where, and like terrestrial because I pick it up on earth and not in space As I determine what I have, I will probably know what to buy.
As someone else will know what to choose DVB-T or DVB-C in my case it will be fun.
