    Hello,
My problem is quite unusual. I have 4 computers on the network. I treat one computer as a data server, where I keep all files, and 3 computers that use these resources. I created a private network with file sharing and a homegroup. All computers could see each other. Problems started showing up after Windows update (I think it was anniversary update). One of the computers started requesting network credentials when trying to enter the server. I read the forum a bit, created the user's password, entered the password and it worked fine (previously, without account passwords, everything flashed beautifully) After the next updates the problem repeated, again with the same computer, with the difference that the password that previously worked when requesting network credentials now does not work anymore. It is not possible to access the server from this computer. Interestingly, everything returns to normal after the reset. Sometimes I have to reset my computer 5 times and it surprises- What is it? All computers are visible in the network resources, all computers are also in the credentials settings, the network is set to private, the sharing is set for everyone with full control. I would like to add that all computers work on the same components, work on Windows 10 pro with all updates, and the problem is only with one computer, the rest of the computers in the network are flickering without my intervention.

Help, please, because I don't know how to bite it anymore ... I'm starting to come to the conclusion that win 10 is probably the worst microsoft system = /

Maybe because it's not a server system. I recommend migrating this file server to a banana pi microcomputer.

You know, win xp and win 7 were not server systems either, I have been operating on such principles for over a dozen years and so far everything was going fine. It's not the point. I mean solving a problem with Windows, not with the hardware. It is probably not an option to replace the system or to move to microcomputers.

    Coming soon :)

Do you have sharing enabled for each user or specific? User Account Control enabled? For me, as a rule, UAC is dirty in the company, unfortunate updates restore default settings.

In fact, UAC was set by default. I turned off and it works at the moment, we'll see how it will be later. However, it bothers me - why on other computers everything works, if UAC was also set by default on them ...
