Baofeng UV-6R: Beginner's Guide - Programming, Manual, Scanning Ranges, HDBF230, Uniden Comparison

As a total beginner with this radio, I am asking for your understanding.

I got the Baofeng UV-6R with the HDBF230 software version

Please help me start playing with the scanner. (setting several scanning ranges, some training how to use it quickly)

I had Uniden before, where service was a lot simpler than this.
Decoding? Settings? Tuning?

Chirp will help you program unless you prefer the factory software.

this is what the entire table is currently looking at. Earlier I tried to set something manually, but nothing but silence. not even a buzz. A larger NAGOYA 771 antenna is installed and the range should increase.

I also read that configuration files are ready. Maybe someone owns?

I created a list of frequencies, entered them into the device, scan turned on and still silence ...

Captures one two frequencies around - PROGRESS! - but there are terrible noises and crackles. Can any of the settings improve reception?

Factory software is easier, I use it.
I got the program with the cable, have fun.

In summary - receives the frequencies. Noise and crackling but works. close
