    Hello,

At the beginning, I apologize right away if I chose the wrong section, but all in all this post is related to the hardware in some way. Well, I bought VR BOX goggles for the phone together with the pad. The Trinus VR application connects the phone to the laptop and I can play PC games on VR, but the problem is with the bluetooth pad, which is detected by the phone, but not by the laptop. By default, after upgrading to Windows 10, some drivers are installed there, but they did not detect anything, so I downloaded and installed Atheros Bluetooth Filter driver + Toshiba Bluetooth Stack. It still does not detect it and I do not know what to do, I am counting on help.

The laptop is a Toshiba Satellite C660-1LK

I will add that the phone is normally seen by the PC.

The mute pad is a typical one-hand remote control that is added to most goggles, I put the photo together with the specification:

EDIT: The pad is seen by another laptop but says there is a connection error and to try again.

Install the system cleanly after 1, not by updating.

Today I replaced the drive due to the fact that the old one has stopped working. I installed a new clean Windows 10 Pro + graphics drivers. I also installed from Toshiba's website (http://www.toshiba.pl/support/drivers/laptops/) bluetooth drivers, namely Bluetooth Stack, the only version of which was "Windows 8 - Upgrade". I turn on the application and the laptop sees the phone but does not see the remote control, while the phone sees both the laptop and the remote control.

Desktop is a laptop, Huawei - a phone, and VR BOX is a remote control.

Bluetooth 4.0 is only supported from Win 8.1. Of course, the hardware of the BT interface must also support the 4.0 standard.

I looked for the specification and found out that the phone has Bluetooth 4, and the laptop has Bluetooth 2.1 with an upgrade to Bluetooth 3 available on the manufacturer's website, while the remote control works with Bluetooth 4 (as written on the specification). Is it possible for a Bluetooth 4 device to be paired with Bluetooth 3?

The remote most likely uses Bluetooth Low Energy. This is the most important thing that distinguishes BT4.0 from previous versions.
There is basically no pairing in BLE. Windows only performs this operation virtually.

So I won't connect it? I will buy some regular "full size" rain and it will be fine. Thanks for the help ;)

You can buy a USB-BT4.0 adapter
You will probably need a special application to operate the remote control.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a connectivity issue with a Bluetooth pad and a Toshiba Satellite C660-1LK laptop after upgrading to Windows 10. The user reports that while the VR BOX goggles and phone connect properly, the Bluetooth pad is not detected by the laptop despite being recognized by the phone. Various troubleshooting steps were taken, including installing the Atheros Bluetooth Filter driver and Toshiba Bluetooth Stack, but the issue persisted. It was noted that the laptop's Bluetooth version (2.1 with an upgrade to 3) may not support the Bluetooth 4.0 standard required by the remote control, which likely uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). A solution suggested was to use a USB Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, which ultimately resolved the connectivity issue.
